Actually…. If all you make it there for is the consecration and communion then you have participated at Mass
I suppose there could be reasons for leaving before the final blessing but to walk away while the Eucharist is still exposed is really hard to imagine. If you believe Christ did what he did and said what he said and was who he was then there is no way that you could walk out at that point.!
Exactly! but you know if that establishment doesn’t want the governor or any type in their restaurant then they should have the right to have them removed. They should also be prepared to feel the repercussions of their actions. Same as any owner of any business, they should have the right to employ whoever they want or serve whoever they want regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation, and beliefs.
11 years old. My sister who was one year older than me was killed in an accident. We were very close ever since then I have been fully aware that it can happen to anyone at any time. I try to live my life, not consumed with this world, but in preparation for the next.
It’s all good! We weren’t meant for this world anyway!
The devil went down to Georgia! CDB
??every diocese has at least one exorcist
I farmed right close to the refuge and they would contract me every year to do plowing for the when they would bring the water down ( units D and C as well as the school section if memory serves me right) there were a couple meetings between refuge staff and fishermen regarding this issue. Ultimately the refuge quit the lowering of water and burning. This was early 2000’s
Lacassine pool used to be lowered every year and burned, but the fisherman made such a big issue over it. That practice was stopped now there is very little open water in the Lacassine pool to hold ducks.
It is government overreach! If someone is worried about getting sick than they should stay home!
But but but but……. That is not what Jesus said..
I honestly can’t answer that, but I can tell you that the older I get the more I admire what my father did. I don’t know what his feelings were, but he was extremely supportive of our faith as we were growing up. Later in life he did convert to Catholicism.

( What do the kids do?)

I believe that it is important that that decision is made before kids ever come into the picture. Ma mother was a devout Catholic and my father was raised Protestant. Before they were ever married, he agreed to do everything he could to make sure that all of their children were raised catholic. I spent a lot of time with my father hunting fishing, etc., but he always made sure that I was at mass on time and did everything he could to support me in my Catholic faith. As well as my five brothers and sisters.
No, I am aware of it. But I try not to focus on the things that men say and do. Again the world in the church is full of false prophets and evil.” thou Art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against thee” maybe I am childlike, but I will always try to follow what Christ said, as opposed to what man says…. I am pretty sure that’s what he asked for.
You just made the point. Her church and any other church other than the Catholic Church and some orthodox churches are not valid. One church was started by Christ. Be wary of false prophets. others are man-made. In very simple terms, he told us how he wanted to be worshiped and what the path of heaven was. Unfortunately starting with Martin Luther men had other ideas. It is very easy to justify our choices. It is very hard to follow Christ request. As stated before the Catholic Church is a way of life. It’s living a life that Christ has laid out for us. It’s not always easy and evil is very close to it
Also, the holy mass is not just a service, it is an unbloody sacrifice
