Exactly. Once you think you are invincible, you are in trouble. Throw the ball away and start again. Cost us 4 points, and we probably will need them.

I thought the same thing. And I read that his favorite teams are LSU and Vandy, so that seems right.
No one has the guts, least of all DeBoer. We need a running back and that is Jalen. So far TN is as bad as we, but they are at home and the longer they hang around, the likelier their win becomes.

It was the exception that proved the rule. After two last games, we may have the rule that proves the exception.

It may have been the best defensive series of the game.

Remember that this happened in 1972 when McGovern replaced his VP nominee. A vote for McGovern-Eagleton was a vote for McGovern-Shriver. It doesn't really matter since in every state you vote for Party Electors pledged to the Party nominees and the RNC and the DNC can replace them if one or more of them resigns from the ticket. So I don't think it really matters about what names are on the ballot.
And it only matters in the Swing States as there are 30+ Republican states and about 10 Democrat states. We can phone in most of those electoral votes right now.

And if Joe objects, which he would, then BOTH Houses of Congress have to vote to make her acting president. If I am the Republican House, I would have no part of it.

I went once either my freshman or sophomore year. Bear was coach; it was hot and boring! Defensive game and not much scoring. Of course, that is how we wanted it back then. Stadium held 60000 then and probably there were fewer than 10000 in attendance. I sat on the 50 yard line.

You are exactly right. I am also mad that as usual we let the cheaters off the hook. We had the chance to keep Scam Newton out of a championship and blew it and Michigan is poised to win one now.
But more to the point is that this team never became a championship caliber team. Milroe improved a great deal but still wasn't ready to win a championship. Whenever we've won championships, it's been defense that smothered them at the end. We've had a great center too, but not this year.

Exactly. I was disappointed we couldn't hang on for another minute. But I never thought we really had a championship caliber team. Too many of the same mistakes. No need to mention them. Yes, with two games in a mediocre year, it was possible that we could, but everything had to go right for us. That hasn't happened but in a few games this season.
Yes, was pulling hard for LSU. It appears they have found their new qb. Congrats LSU.

Coaches like male teachers come n 3 broad classes:
1) The exuberant overgrown kid
2) The stern demanding father figure
3) The easygoing kindly grandfather
If you do it long enough, you pass through all phases, staying in some longer than others.

I needed a good chuckle today.
The real problem was the 12 game field instead of 8. Then the top 4 seeds play at home, the semis are the two bowl games and then the championship. Also, we finish around Jan 10 as we're supposed to do. But here it is. They wanted to have bowl games at least 4 of them mean something.

Where do they keep the championship caliber coaches in stock? Lots of programs have been shopping for those things.
Agreed, but I don't think the one the Aggies got is going to be one.

Yep, they might as well have given Jimbo another year or two and waited to find a championship caliber coach.

What I don't understand is why some of you think there is a committee if they are just going to take the undefeated teams. Next year, you might as well average the AP Poll and Coaches Poll and put the top 12 in and get rid of the committee.
We call it AU.com
Because they can. Blessed be the name of the REFS.
