If you look at the 4 quadrants of the bracket, the part LSU is in, is by far the most winnable. No automatics but very winnable

A&M just figured out that they can't pay everybody because it cost them much more than expected. Tried negotiating with Perkins and he said see ya. LSU has been pushing and now he's giving them a chance to give him his payday, Also, from everything said on this board the kid has always really liked LSU

I mean with all the tie-in's Shaq has to all kind of companies, can he influence the sponsors to sign some recruits to NIL deals.

This should be a priority. If Marceaux does not come back we are lacking that true 1/2 punch. Also our depth is a great concern.
While i would like to believe we could get a 2 seed, I think we are locked in at a 3 seed
re: If LSU doesn’t win a game in the SEC Tournament will we make a Regional?
Posted by Sparky321 on 5/22/21 at 6:29 pm to Northwest Louisiana
I think if we beat Georgia it's 100%. We basically tied for 8th with them and the NCAA's will definitely take 8 from the SEC. Still a chance if we lose but guaranteed if we win
some people like watching baseball but don't know baseball. Good post Josh
Yes, it is time for him to retire but he did good things far a long time until the last few seasons. Remember he did win a World Series and he had a good run from 2013 to 2017.
2013 LSU 57–11 23–7 1st (West) College World Series
2014 LSU 46–16–1 17–11–1 2nd (West) NCAA Regional

2016 LSU 45–21 19–11 3rd (West) NCAA Super Regional
2017 LSU 52–20 21–9 1st (West) College World Series Runner-Up

Pitching Depth and Tournaments
Posted by Sparky321 on 5/7/21 at 6:00 pm
I love LSU baseball and i do think this team has improved but when you get into tournaments, pitching depth is a must. The SEC tournament 4-5 games in 5 days. NCAA regionals, if you lose 1 game you play 5 games in 4 days. Lastly, World Series you will play 6-8 games over 12 days. In other words IF we make it into any of these tournaments we could not lose 1 game if we expect to have a chance
She makes $2.2M per year. I don't see us paying that kind of money on a sport that losses money

very nice job
Great addition to the class
Disagree. Their are only 3 playing, not on practice squads, from last years team and zero were 5 stars
