Brees-obvious choice
Ricky Jackson- beast on the field. Best defensive player Saints ever had.
Archie Manning
Archie was fast, mobile, could throw on the run, and had a great arm.He just played for terrible teamswith even worse coaches. I think one year he was sacked 40-50 times but he never gave up. One season he played with a cast on his left arm.
Casanova needs to be on it. In addition to the times All American, in 71 Sports Illustrated put him on the cover and named him the best player in the nation.

1). Brees 110 games with a passer rating over 110; Rogers not even 80 games
2). QBs over 5000 yards: 12 times- Brees has 5 of them
3) Pro Football ref guide only Manning has more game winning drives than Brees.
4) Brees has record for highest carrier passing percentage.

Aaron Rogers is no Drew Brees

It was a carrier discussion: Breez, Brady, Rogers,

Tired of Aaron Rogers

I am so tired of hearing about Rogers. Curt Warner just said Rogers is better than Brees. Enough. Brees carried a team with no defense for years. They also could barely run the ball because the left side of the line could barely run block. If it wasn't for the No Call, Brees would likely already have 2 rings. So what if Rogers arm is stronger.
Say they're equal- OK. But Rogers is better. Not a chance.
I said the same thing to my wife, It made it look like he was moving his hands quickly to catch the ball., The last game I saw with calls like this this was the LSU-AUBURN Refgate game, Just absurd.

I posted earlier. No more Taysom Hill. This is absurd. You don’t take out Drew Brees for this guy. So what if he has a good play every once in a while. Brees is a first ballot hall of famer. Brees needs to refuse to come out. Can you imagine Brady or Manning putting up with this nonsense.

Good point.
And another wasted play with Taysom Hill on that pass. Again. Enough.

Yes. And it was very effective because they have to respect that Brees May throw. That’s not a problem for them when Hill is in.

Enough with Taysom Hill at QB

Offense firing on all cylinders last drive. Defense holds packers to FG after terrible horse collar call. We get ball back and Put in Taysom Hill on 1st down and run the same play he almost always runs. Wasted down. Ruins series. This is getting absurd. Breesjust needs to tell Payton no more. Can you imagine Brady or Manning putting up with this.
Add Cam Cleland at TE and Stanley Jean Baptist’s at CB and you have a winner
Your players can’t win one on one when they know what you are going to do. Just ask Les Miles.
1). Tackles did not play well but it was because MN attacked pass every play and they have very good DEs. Payton gives up on running in close games. Saints passed exactly 2 of every 3 plays in that game. Even though they averaged over 5 ½ yards per run attempt. Every game the Saints lost last year they ran less than 20 times I think. And in none of those games were they too far behind to keep running. And how did SF beat MN. They ran the ball down their throats. SF does not have a better Oline or backs than the Saints. Payton’s play calling lost that game. Not his Oline. Go ahead and flame away everyone. But the stats I gave are good.
Bama plays a 2 game schedule every year- LSU and Auburn. Their permanent east opponent (Tenn) is just plain bad and their OOC schedule is a joke. Basically they have to go 1-1 against LSU and Auburn to get in. People are starting to realize this is a farce. I don’t think they go over a 1-loss conference champ.

Yes. He does. He’s done it in the past. What is the Saints are behind he tends to give up the run to early
Good point. The Saints stopped running the ball really early. They weren’t far behind and it look like they just gave up on the run.

re: Payton stubborn no RB blocking help

True. That’s why a RB needed to help on some plays Payton has done this many times in the past. He won’t adjust when the Oline is playing poorly. It doesn’t matter how clever the play is if the QB is getting sacked

Payton stubborn no RB blocking help

This has happened before. The Oline has a bad day and he refuses to keep an RB in to help with the pass rush. He is just plain stubborn.
