Governments and human beings cannot be trusted with the power it gives them over free people. Same with car kill switches, smart meters and many other internet connected devices. Add in central bank digital currency

They are all a terrible idea and completely unnecessary. They are incompatible with freedom.

These cameras are bad today in their current form but everyone needs to recognize this is just a stepping stone. This technology is going to evolve in a frightening direction. And it's going to happen much quicker than anyone realizes.

It's a classic "mission creep". The infrastructure is rapidly expanding and it's just a base to continually roll out new and terrifying features without any new equipment.

Every single one should be taken down. This technology is moving way too fast for our laws or courts to properly address. This is just a small piece of a larger societal problem and it's a big one.

Our laws, elections and courts move very slow. This used to have some benefit but AI is plowing ahead at a pace most people cannot comprehend.

It's not a matter of do something before it's too late. It's already too late. This will end in a bad way.

Things that go boom really fast take a long time to replace.
