Trump is reeling.

You are ridiculous.

This is called politics. It's difficult. None of this is new for anyone in politics or new to Trump.

And like all politicians, maybe he will navigate it, or maybe he won't.

Garden variety politics.

Can they be forced to stay where they are? I mean people are going to be upset one way or the other.

More likely that Easton and Curtis want out.
I'd rather pay Hungary's fines than pay Zelensky, or food stamps.
This shite was happening before sports betting was accessible everywhere.

I would expect it to be 100x worse today.

I said he's a great coach. He won't be a great head coach. It's a different job.

I can give you a very long list of great coordinators and play callers on both sides of the ball that turned out to be terrible head coaches because they lacked what was needed to command a football team.

My opinion of Joe Brady is that he also lacks those qualities.

Sorry I want a coach that has a fire and has the kids running through a wall for him.

Brady is not a leader. He's a great coach but just doesn't have it.

Same reason Kellan Moore is going to flop with the Saints.

You need a great coach that is also a leader of men.

You and I have no idea what's happened here but the story is sus as hell. The propaganda from both sides is off the charts.
The current system is perfectly fine. It's a great compromise and works. The fact that this is an issue kind of blows my mind.

Hell, most clocks change themselves now.

I'm 54 and I don't ever remember a time where anyone seriously pushed for a change to the system. Maybe as a fringe proposal no one ever took seriously.

These threads make it obvious half the population will be pissed of we actually choose between standard and daylight savings.

Whining about this is some baby soft shite. People seems to have a need to bitch and moan about stupid shite and this is a twice a year example.

I have 12 million reasons per year lane would leave ole miss

Kiffin is already making $9 million with potential for more in incentives.

You think Ole Miss is going to let Kiffin walk over a few million dollars per year? Kiffin will leverage his position as the hottest current name and use it to get anything he wants from Ole Miss. More salary, better staff, more NIL. Anything he wants.

He has a better job now from his perspective. Ole Miss has the hottest name as their coach already. People think they will let him walk?

Use your heads people.

just can't see us getting a headliner coach

What did you think was going to happen?

This new system of college football erases most of the advantages LSU had in the old system.

Hell, Kelly wouldn't have come if he would have had a clearer view of what was happening. He was much better off at Notre Dame.

It's still a good job but it's nowhere near the job it was 10 or 15 years ago.

The posts here are already ridiculous but it's nothing compared to what they will look like in 2 months.

Delusions will make way for panic.

Kiffin's coming Ole Miss extension

Posted by Tiger985 on 10/31/25 at 10:21 am
When Kiffin signs his extension with Ole Miss will people accept that it was always going to happen or will they blame Landry and the AD situation?

Ole Miss isn't going to let Kiffin get away. They will make him the highest paid coach in the country if necessary. It will actually be the cheapest option for them long term. Why take a chance on a new coach when they already have the hottest coach available at Ole Miss.

The fools here will blame Landry though.
He will never get the votes and it's a stupid idea.

Short sighted and foolish.

The current system is great and a product of careful thought and consideration.

I don't know why a dumber generation would want to mess with it.

That being said, if we absolutely had to choose I would pick permanent daylight savings time. I also recognize many people feel the opposite, hence the compromise of the current system.
