Amazing times.
It was either this or shutdown.
I actually think this rebrand has potential.
I hope it works out for them.
I get why people are upset about the name and colors but it just wasn't working. This is better than shutting down.

re: Why does it feel like we’re letting Iran dictate everything to us?

You are deluded if you believe all that.
Iran would be 100x the job of Iraq or Afghanistan.
Do some homework and get back to me.

Because we have no good options.
Who thinks the American people are going to support a ground invasion of Iran? A mountainous country 4x the size of Iraq. Iran is as large as western Europe.
It's just not going to happen in the real world.
We bombed for 40 days and depleted 8 years of cruise missile production. Munitions aren't infinite. This isn't a video game.
Trump was sold a bill of goods on this deal. He made a terrible decision but at least he's smart enough to try and end it versus some insane escalation Israel would love.
Never double down on stupid.

Yes it's dumb. We need a constitutional amendment. What will you do to support it? Bitch online?

Birthright citizenship will be upheld 7-2. I think that's the most likely count.
Court will remind everyone how the Constitution works and we can fix this with an amendment to the constitution.
I believe a majority of this court thinks birthright citizenship is stupid but they are not a super legislature in place to right all wrongs. We absolutely do not want a court that works that way.

I don't disagree with you. But this wasn't the right court to make the case before. This set of justices is going to uphold birthright citizenship.
The elected representatives of the people have the ability to fix this problem.
The court is not a legislature and trust me, you do not want it acting like one.

The Court will correctly state that our Founders left us with beautiful process to change or add to the Constitution. We can easily fix this problem. The Supreme Court is not some super legislature whose job it is to fix all wrongs.
You have 3 raging nut liberals on the court and a few textualists. The textualists lean conservative but they will fall back to what the constitution says. The document says what is says and it says if you are born here you are a citizen. They cannot change what it says even if they understand the intent. The conservatives will focus on the intent.
The permanent fix is a constitutional amendment that defines who is a citizen very narrowly.

I like Vance to stay VP and Rubio to be at the top of the ticket. He’s infinitely more qualified and older than Vance.
Rubio was a ringleader of the Senate cabal working to undermine the first Trump term.
He's an establishment neocon, amnesty loving traitor who used flattery to work his way into Trump's circle.
He's a slightly better version of Mike Pence.
He also lacks skill as a candidate.
Vance would beat him handily.

Politics can change in a hurry but this Iran disaster harms Rubio. It will be interesting to see how he navigates this relative to his personal ambitions.
Vance is strengthened because he was right from the jump and has thus far avoided Trump's ire.
With Trump it all boils down to which guy is Trump more likely to be calling a stupid idiot in 6 months. At this point it's more likely to be Rubio.

Starting this war was Trump's worst decision in politics by a mile.
I'll give him credit for recognizing it and stopping instead of escalating though. He now knows he fricked up though he will never admit it.

One of the biggest hurdles to a deal is Trump himself. He cant keep his mouth shite which has the effect of undermining the negotiations for a deal.
Trump should negotiate the deal, get everyone involved to sign the deal then proceed to tell us how great the deal is. The greatest deal ever. No one will mind.
Very hard to have a delicate negotiation with someone who is going to run his mouth in the press about politically sensitive details.
