Yes, as far as the Prairieville-based journey goes, today was by far the worst 1-2 punch of AM + PM gridlock in memory. Going to leave a half hour earlier tomorrow. On both ends of the day. Hope it helps.
I think one major fix needed in the AM is to lengthen the left turn cycle for folks turning left onto Highland towards the interstate. I don't even go that route, but the backlog from that choke point ripples back all the way to the Parish line @ Bayou Manchac by peak rush hour.
That, and tweaks are needed to the AM light cycles for BR-bound Airline traffic between Hwy 42 and Perkins in the heart of Prairieville.

Drive 15 minutes further away. Hit up Riverside Barbershop in Gonzales. 14 dollars. Straight blade along earline and neckline after the main cut. Barbershop so nice laid back environment - until the chatter turns to sports, then everyone has something to say and it gets loud.

Agreed. Reading through this thread, it's really silly as frick, and I am actually giggling (not laughing, I mean actual grown man giggling, which I've never done before) in bed and it's making the bed shake which has my wife and dog stirring. Wife and dog, that's two separate entities by the way.
