I think Saban is an outstanding coach and regrets the move from LSU to Miami. I think that most human beings would move up to professional level football if given the chance and if it's what they thought they wanted.
However, the job at LSU was not available and he took the next best job available. Again, what would you do if you were in his shoes? To say one football program is better than the other is moot; both teams have NFL talent on them. For Saban, I think with all the negative adversity he has had to endure with the media and the move from LSU to Miami and to Alabama; he has become a better man under adverse conditions - he has maintained his integrety as a coach to the college level and hats need to be tipped to that. Amen.
