Since the first time I rode in a Prius, I wished an F150 had this power train set up. I don’t need 10k lbs towing and 400+ hp to get my camping gear and bicycle to the mountains. But 30-40 mpg would be sweet. If I need to tow heavy, I’ll get a 3/4ton.
I do not disagree with you... I wish is was this simple... you have no idea how i wish it this was simple... I mean, really, i wish it was this simple...

Mean while... I'm fine with friking up non-fishing boats...
As a struggling/recovering/failing/repeat, alcoholic, I don't hate the supply is problematic...
You just pop up every now and then, pillage and plunder, and fade away.

Bravo sir!
I watched that. Most seemed reasonable,

Except

He’s saying bullet entered anterior moving posterior???

Is it not accepted it was posterior right entry, anterior left exit?

For folks that don’t get all the nomenclature.

30-06 Springfield is the cartridge

30 caliber/ .308/ 7.62mm is the bullet diameter

“He was dead nearly immediately, the internal trauma was catastrophic,”

This…
The 7mm is a great choice, but you don't need that belted magnum... Bolt or Semi? almost has to be a bolt??? If this is going to be a packing/hunting rifle, you'll appreciate a short action over that magnum, for weight and handling...

About the 06, I've reloaded and hunted since the late 80s, .22 hornet up to .35 Whelen, the most powerful I'd guess is .338 Win Mag? Have shot several dozen white tail/mullies, and witnessed thru optics(binos/scopes) several dozen more... I have a tin with 30+ recovered bullets, maybe half are mine, others from others... Factory loads Win/Fed/Rem/Hornady, reloads with Sierra gamekings, hornady core lock(?), barnes X, Noslers ballistic tips/partitions, Speer Grandslams, lots of diff bullets... unless it's a premium bullet or FMJ, if it hits bone, it's coming apart and will take the craziest paths you can dream of.

I read an article that allegedly had a picture of the "engraved" cases, it looked like markers, not engraved, in this picture. 5 cartridges in a stripper clip, like the old military ball ammo, I have some Lake City Arsenal 30-06 match ammo, looks just like it. I don't know if anyone on the outside really knows the truth, but it looks like 150-168-180 grain FMJ with brass cases, again, when I google it, just a bunch of random shite comes up.

the video, I don't care to watch them again, in my novice opin, looks like what i'd expect, the expansion, then rebound of the neck/flesh... the first reports of hitting a plate and glancing made no sense, proved out that didn't happen. I can't find anything that reliably says the bullet was recovered in body??? does anyone have a good link for the recovered bullet, cartridges, or rifle? I can picture in my head an old 96/98 mauser with an old k4 weaver?

No idea whats true? KISS

I listen Young Turks right after listening to Shapiro, to try and balance out what I heard.

Ya, she is conflicted. You can “hear” her sigh when chunk goes on foolish rant. She seems to be slowly red pilling.
It’s always been my opinion to keep buying foreign oil and save ours for last. Ours being North America, then western hemisphere.

I have no “global-economic” experience, so maybe it’s a stupid thought. ???????
any way to set up say GofT season 5 episode 5 and share with some bodies...

anything thoughs?

thanks, Ray

are military sniper rifles not good enough? What am i missing?

Could they not just get the military snipers to go to SS?

I've always assumed (arse u me) that's where the majority came from???
16lbs minus optics, slings, bipod/rest system seems awful heavy???

off to weigh my heavy varmint in .223 with 6.5x20 Leupold...
It is reaching for something on his chest harness, can't tell what he has mounted?

I don’t know? So I’d say not, just personal home computers. I’d not heard of “Falcon” sensors until this event.

I’ve been out of town and haven’t fired up home laptop or desktop, is bad code pulled? Will I be ok to start them up now?

Looks Like you might be an NSer? Do you guys use trip optimizer? I'm a BNSFer, we almost exclusively use it, under penalty of investigation, so when you say "shitty engineer", i'll retort with shitty AI program to run the trains... and that train make up you cited that was a shitty engineer, maybe, if we were able to split screens and run manually, and had years of experience doing it, maybe... but our trainees come out the program with practically no hands on training running trains, fire up PTC and Optimizer and let'r run...
2-3 years ago, in a 13 month period we piled up 3 bargals/galbars between KCK and Galesburg, ILL, a lot of undulating track, all of them 8-10,000' long 10-14,000 tons, made up almost like you described with DP, Optimizer running and everyone with the DP in high throttle, descending grade, head end ascending grade in low throttle or idle, crazy run in, in middle of train with a bunch of emties.... BOOM, calamity...
So, your generalization of "shitty engineers" doesn't" quite cover everything/one and all situations...

Also, didn't the Palistine train get caught by a detector and they were told to keep moving to next station to set out car or inspect? don't recall exact details...

All that being said, these long trains are no good, and we/the RRs are getting lucky they haven't piled shite up in a major population area yet...

In my humple opin....
It was more than that in California alone, that’s why the mention of the those 5-6 swing states. Running up the popular in NY and Cali doesn’t matter.
