re: Pick my next pistol. Updated picked up XR920

Yep another vote here for the Glock 19x. I only have 5 pistols(Kimber 1911, Mp shield, 19x, sig 40, Taurus 380) but my friend group we all have different ones. And we have all agreed the 19x is kinda the bat all around
re: Cost of shipping container from China up to record high of $20,586

I agree with your 20ft container prices from China. We just had about a dozen come in for a project in Port Arthur Texas from China with Pump blocks and motor housings and they were $2800 and change each. I signed the invoices from GOContainers. And all were delivered about 10 days earlier than expected. So I Can buy that.

re: $12,000 Reward for Information Regarding the Whereabouts of an Ivory Billed Woodpecker

I know exactly where they found em. Right where I said they would. On page 6 of this post 3/3/2020. They are still there in the Brake. Extreme marsh type heavy wooded swamp. Hard to access and hard to get thru without a pirouge or like a kayak. Got to get out a pull and wade a bunch. But they there. I stand by that still. They look different on the head. Not black and white striped neck like the Pileated. More black with one white stripe down to a patch on da back and when they on a tree their butt looks white feathered where the wings ends fold across it. Male got red on head hood but not under chin like a pileated and the female head hood almost colored like a head on a blue bill scaup drake duck.
re: 300 BLk Out suppressor recs.

After going form 1 and building my own. You can build a quieter and better quality suppressor than you can buy. I'll never go Form 4 and buy a cookie cutter mass produced again. Actually feel I wasted a couple thousand dollars on ignorance with my first two name brands.
re: Best wood pellet grill for under $750?
Posted by Boat Motor Bandit on 5/11/20 at 7:15 am
In all honesty.... I cant see spending the money folks are on these outdoor ovens that smoke a lil bit. FIL has a Traeger, I have friends that have every brand mentioned in this thread. I've eaten off all of them. Just not impressed. My old school $150 Masterbuilt smoker still does just as good and arguably better with some meats. Actually had my family ask me two weeks ago what kinda pellet grill did I get because everything was so good. Sorry not sorry, The hype outweighs the results.

What if you don't have a license? Like inherited a bunch of equipment and just use it? Explain how one would get caught?

VIN number should be on tongue. Have owner apply for lost title and sign it over.

I have one now and have had two. They are very reliable. Yes pull the plate on the 40 helps. Also splurge on the 50hp cpu and change it for an extra boost of midrange.
re: LED Lighting in boat
Posted by Boat Motor Bandit on 4/30/20 at 8:50 am
Amazon is your friend. just look for the LED's in 12volt that fit the application your wanting to go with. Order Away.
In regards to Blue Water LED's that is another marketing gig with their lifetime warranty. 90% of the LED's are the same kind, made on about 4 factory lines across China. They do not have something special. They raise the price to cover warranty losses and market as such in hopes they don't fail or you sale the product or forget before a claim.

re: Recs for aluminum boat
Posted by Boat Motor Bandit on 4/29/20 at 1:56 pm
Homey its not just the gauge. Its also the metallurgy of it. Hardness, flex, all that goes into the types of aluminum the big dogs use. not just gauge. five boat companies may build using 100 (.100) gauge. But all five maybe using different aluminum. 405 or a 435 456 26-1. All different Alloys of metal make up in Aluminums.

Id like to make a suggestion from lessons learned from the past.
I feel our tube from Window seal to hive is to small in diameter. I have learned that it is necessary to make sure that hose is large. during the summer as hives grows it will be so packed with bees some will die and eventually clog it when you least expect it. Like gone on vaca and you come home to colony collapse.

re: Turkeys are the devil

yep made that mistake before. Never call to a tom that is shock gobbling a thunder late in the season in a field. Walk out there with a couple fans at the edge of the field. make sure they can see those fans and walk up and down that edge to get there attention for about 5 minutes. then gobble when there is no thunder followed by one good set of purrs and yelps. then strut one more time and disappear into the wood where you want them to come. wait about one minute and gobble again. They will drop strut and run to you.

I only use Demon and Permethrin. Both are great no issues
re: PSA - Yum Dingers
Posted by Boat Motor Bandit on 4/28/20 at 2:45 pm
Yum Dingers are not worth the $2.99 a pack. they do not have the same action or sink rate as a true SENKO and just do not do half as good under same conditions. Trash
