Not a fan.
They should have traded up for Lemon. With 12 picks, they clearly had enough to get the job done. The Rams were rumored to be moving down.
Drafted a RT in the first, when we might need a LT, depending on Jones' injury. I am guessing Troy Fautanu will spend his first two season on the right side and then you're asking him move to the left.
Drew Allar is a long short. Statistically speaking, QBs drafted after round 2 do now work out. Plus, did you see that screenshot on his phone? That's disgusting! :yack:
A returner in round 4 is a reach, especially since this team has plenty of more pressing needs to fill. Also, he's also 24.
We already have comparable talent at RB/TE. Although I dont hate those picks.
Wish we could have traded up and gotten Emmanuel McNeil-Warren or other top talent that slid. Again, we had the picks.

I like it, also. The Steelers are in a rebuilding mode and they should embrace it. Might as well take a flyer on a QB that's got a ton of upside. Wish they'd tell Rogers to take hike, though.
I'm not a fan of the pick. I wish we would have gone all in on the superior QBs in the 2027 draft.
But what's done is done.
I know this is doubtful but I hope we pass on Rodgers and handAllar the keys. If he swims, we have our QB of the future. If he sinks, we're can compete for the #1 overall pick in 2027.

Well, cant blame them for what they've done this far in the draft. They get an A by my book.

A lot of columnists are criticizing the Vikings pick of the DLman. Although, that was a reach, the only major issue I had was the Rams going with a QB.
Typically, I say, "If that's you're guy, draft him. Dont worry what any other team thinks". However, when you're THAT close to the super bowl, why are you not going with the extra boost that can put you over the top and not a pick that will come in fruition years from now. Their time is now.
I also think it was a reach as well. Simpson's size and the losses to Oklahoma and Indiana concern me. Walter Football claimed Simpson wasnt a lock to start next season at Alabama if he decided to return. Can any direhard Alabama fans confirm this? But, the vast majority of the issue I have with this selection is the position, not the player.

Good Morning All
True but since theyre on the verge of the SB, I would have went with a WR
They perform Renegade and that's the unofficial anthem of the Steelers.

Is the plan for Iheanachor to play RT and Fautanu to move to RG?
Eagles jump ahead of the Steelers to draft Lemon. Dont know why The Steelers didnt trade up. They had a total of 12 picks.

I always thought 6'6 was too tall for defensive lineman.

You realize he had three major injuries late last year?
Well, yeah but thats all the more reason to not draft so high. I really question he would have went in the first if the rams passed on him.
Rams probably could have moved up early in the 2nd and nabbed him.

I agree. This was supposed to be a very deep draft class. We all know how that turned out.

I think WalterFootball may have this as his worst pick ever.
Thats tough but fair.
CBS Sports gave the Simpson selection an A!
Too high for Simpson. He cooled down the stretch in a big way. I thought they were in win now mode?

I'd go with a WR, If I were the rams.

I hate that the draft TV show is so much slower than the actual draft.
Looks like they're trying for ten picks an hour
Looks like the Browns made a good deal after all, assuming they wanted Fano from the get-go.
I wouldn't have taken the chance but I guess you cant criticize them when they do something right.

I understand it was only a difference of three slots but I would have wanted a lot more if I were a Browns fan.
I dont know why the Browns would pass on Kadyn Proctor
