Is this league still in need of players?? Looking to join leagues myself.
The kid will play somewhere on the field early and it wouldn't surprise me at all if it isn't the position he initially starts at. Devin White is the most obvious comparison. Too good to keep off the field. Probably could've been a fantastic running back but was an instant NFL caliber prospect from his first snaps on the second level.

Would love to see this kid play tight end. Mismatch nightmare. One of those guys who's unguardable. But it wouldn't shock me at all to see him play somewhere on the front 7 either. From staff to staff, coaches will all have different takes on what he will project to be the best he could be at and I'm only hoping it's not at BAMA where you know saban will have him in the best possible spot to show off his ability. This type of guy is nightmare to try and gameplan against.

Sorry, I don't really try to understand this. Definitely not for a 5 yr. old. ?
The formula they use is somewhat complex. Even though ND'S Composite avg is higher, I take it as: if a Texas 5* is 99.5 & ND's 5* is 98.5 Texas is awarded more points than simply the 1.0 higher face value than ND when it comes to calculating overall Team score. This can cause Texas' team score to be higher, even though their Composite is lower. Here it is:

?
Team Ranking Explanation
where c is a specific team's total number of commits and Rn is the 247Sports Composite Rating of the nth-best commit times 100.
Explanation
In order to create the most comprehensive Team Recruiting Ranking without any notion of bias, 247Sports Team Recruiting Ranking is solely based on the 247Sports Composite Rating.
Each recruit is weighted in the rankings according to a GAUSSIAN DISTRIBUTION FORMULA (a bell curve), where a team's best recruit is worth the most points. You can think of a team's point score as being the sum of ratings of all the team's commits where the best recruit is worth 100% of his rating value, the second best recruit is worth nearly 100% of his rating value, down to the last recruit who is worth a small fraction of his rating value. This formula ensures that all commits contribute at least some value to the team's score without heavily rewarding teams that have several more commitments than others.
Readers familiar with the Gaussian distribution formula will note that we use a varying value for s based on the standard deviation for the total number of commits between schools for the given sport. This STANDARD DEVIATION creates a bell curve with an inflection point near the average number of players recruited per team.
Below is a graphical representation of how our formula works. You can see that the area under the curve gets smaller both as the rating for a commit decreases and as the number of total commits for a school increases. The y-axis in this graph represents the percentage weight of the score that gets applied to an overall team.

Whichever 5 year old out there that understands any of this is an alien pretending to be a child.
It's pretty amazing that this happened not only to Sampson but for the other five star wide out as well....days after commitment both of these long since rated five star kids get dropped to four star players. I'm not calling conspiracy, I realize that when commitments are made a lot of new adjustments get made to the 247 algorithm and this happens to guys. But for it to happen to both of them? After commitments to the same team??? It's just a bunch of B.S.
Vitals is still pissed that LSU pulled recruits that are normally dukes type of prospects... literally claiming programs like LSU steal players from the blue bloods he is so obsessed with defending as blindly as he possibly could. Dude is a dinosaur and the collective men’s college basketball world will breathe a sigh of relief when the dude is gone. Good riddance to the man.

Nothing but a hypocrite and a liar when it comes down to it. He’s done nothing but tarnish what would have otherwise been a hall of fame and very storied career, but his true colors ran through in the end and he is nothing but a p.o.s in the minds of the newer generation of fans for the sport itself.
Max can run and Miles can't. It's as simple as that. Doesn't matter what his throws look like or if they are perfect in all honesty....

This is Max Johnson's job and it's not going to change barring injury.
So let's take it easy on the guy huh??? Maybe the jets in his indoor hot tub are busted and he only has a medium level of comfort at the moment...I mean you don't know...Maybe he found out that he has to actually worry about his job next season or something??? Not that he'd lose it or anything like that but hey you never know just what the most stable front office on the pro level is gonna do...I'm sure he was up all this week until times like 9 pm...maybe even 10...and God forbid he was so troubled over losing a guy who means so much to him and his own success in life...Its as if you guys don't see that a man like Sean Payton realizes he just more important than Ryan Nielsen in this life according to himself...

So that clearly justifies him doing anything he can to not only help only himself but by hurting the LSU program that will have to restart the entire process over again, well maybe they'll learn to not suck at defense so much and wouldn't need to come into Sean Payton's football world and expect not to get collectively punched in the dick like it feels happened...And as far as Neilsen is concerned, well he will get a raise and will be you know...the same exact thing he was before...but you know...more money...No title or control just yet for you though my man, and look we all know you are ready to move on and make your name in this profession but everyone in the know understands that your career and overall happiness in general is going to be controlled externally by Sean Payton and if you don't like that..well I'd say there's the door but you know you can't go anywhere anytime soon...So get comfortable my dude...

Maybe next time a team comes calling you might be smart enough to just tell them that your daddy won't let you come outside to play unless you are doing it in the front yard aka the Dome...And for God sakes stop going around trying to better your life and just sit back and enjoy the view from the sideline...Just make sure you check with daddy Sean before ever making any type of choice for your own life...As we've clearly come to find out when it comes to the direction of your life Mr. Nielsen, you need to remember that it's actually Payton that is doing the directing...

So in conclusion...You never know just how hard a man has it in life...Never just assume a man like Sean Payton has everything and start understanding that as long as he's happy and everyone else involved with the sitch is either stuck going no where like Nielsen or stuck going backwards like Coach O...I mean it's not like what Payton did was anything but the most honorable of ways to make sure that he and only he gets what he wants...and in this case Sean wants a guy to ride his backup coaching spots for another few years until he either promotes him or decides he's not as pretty and young as he was before... And it is only then that you can assume making decisions for your life will be accepted by Daddy Sean...

Everyone make sure to send Sean your very best wishes to his private home in the form of your very best human waste. He loves shitting on the dreams of those around him so make sure to return the favor and give him everything you can muster...It's not like taking out a handful of bullshite and shoving it in the throats of an entire state is anything our of the ordinary for a real class act like Sean "Your boss and therefore your God" Payton...

Can't wait to see what he decides to do next that is something only a teenage girl would do...because the amount of pettiness that was involved here is stuff only seen when girls learning to be women decide to mess with each other...in this case it's a grown man doing this to two fellow grown men...but hey...as long as Payton is happy and healthy then everything is gonna be ok right??? Such a great day to be Sean Payton right!!!!
I'm kinda surprised that most of the people here are downplaying the overall importance of the game tonight when it actually is more than just another SEC wednesday game. So I'll make it clear for anyone that bothers with actually understanding the stakes at the point....

First off, you lose this game and Bama has a 2 game lead in the loss column and then you are looking at a stretch of the schedule that could literally end your season in a hurry if you let it...Lose to bama and then you'll walk into Rupp with all the pressure to win on you against a UK team that has a bunch of five star 18 years old children that could absolutely put one game together and just use the pure talent they have and if you let that game slip away then you are now three games back with a game vs. Texas A&M at home needing to win because you have to face two ranked teams in a row after that...Texas Tech who is the 12th ranked team overall and then the second game against Bama that would most likely still be in the top of the SEC and playing to get the best seed possible and at the same time LSU at the worst possible case could be coming in 1-3 in their last 4 games and would be in a spot where if they didn't win the rematch then it's over for them as an at large team. No more real chances for any real good wins on the schedule that would remain.

I realize that this is just one game being played and I'm playing worst case scenario here...But look you lose this game and watch how the whole season you have in mind could end up falling apart quickly if you aren't careful
The truly great teams can score the way this LSU team can and will have one or two stars that could be pros already and they have that with Thomas and Watford. The best teams have options behind the top guys that can be relied on to pick it up when the first and second option are having trouble, and with Days and Smart that box is checked as well. The best teams have size everywhere and can just run over teams if they need to, and this is the first chink in the armor we come to with this roster, they don't have elite size and have to put it work to make up the lack of positioning. The best teams are also elite defensive teams a lot the time and usually are at the very least in the top 5 of their conference in points per game given up. And while they have a couple guys that can play great individual defense, the team is not one that will be confused with Virginia any time soon. The lack of a true rim protecting defensive player is a real hole in the roster that Wade desperately tried to fill and after cisse walked he brought in Penn-Johnson for that one and only area...and the kid busts out in a really surprising turn... All in all this team can hang with any team as long a the shots are falling, but when they face a team that can stop them and put up points themselves that's when you see all the talent they have look lost and it's up to guys like smart and days to get us through those times. They could beat a top 5 team one night and lose to a conference bottom feeder having their best game and seeing their shots not falling ....

They will be ranked if they can get through the next two games without losing both or getting blown out in either. A win and a close loss is still acceptable, but two wins and they will play their next game after the visit to Rupp as the 21-24th ranked team.
Washington would be lucky if he saw the field in year 3 at LSU. Roy, Smith, Guillory among others are elite prospects that will be the main rotation players over the next three years and anyone coming into the interior line during 2022 is all but signing themselves to the bench until this 2020 and 2021 group is gone. Smith and Roy should be the most dominant pair of tackles in a while....id be scared of them too
The top four:

Joe Burrow
Tyrann Matheiu
Glenn Dorsey
Billy Cannon

The most elite and talented players are as follows

1. Patrick Peterson
2. Leonard Fournette
3. Odell Beckham
4. Jamal Adams

Fournette has rushing records that will never be touched with today's offenses. And he did it against 8 man fronts play after play. Would've had 2000 if the game early that year wasn't cancelled. Bama game stung and the 3 losses at the end stole that Heisman from him. But that didn't change just how dominant he was from day one on campus. He honestly is the best player I've ever gotten to see play live. Was a pro going against middle schoolers that season it looked like. Would just run over feared tacklers from the start.
Just honestly salivating at the prospect of watching Stingley and Ricks at the outside corner spots...It has the potential to be literally the most talented set of starting corners ever seen at LSU and that is truly something. Barring any unforseen injury stuff, and if they both go into the season 100 percent, then teams will have the hash lines to the sidelines straight up locked down all year long. Two first round picks both on islands taking out the two best wideouts of each and every opponent. Add in the fact that you bring in the top two overall safeties from the incoming class and get Harris back yet again...I know we just witnessed perhaps the worst pass defense seen at LSU in a long time...but it could literally go from last to being the best overall in the college game in a single offseason provided all the guys stay healthy and the coach brought in puts them in the most successful places to showcase their lockdown type of talents
If you believe Jordy was fired on a whim over some interview thing that may have rubbed LSU people wrong...Then you don't get how companies like ESPN and Guaranty media actually work.

Changing a host of a regional affiliate radio station on the early morning local sports radio show seems like it's something that doesn't take much planning or whatnot and can be done suddenly...But it's not...

ESPN has a say over who broadcasts their content no matter what it is big or small. They have the final say. And they don't make rushed decisions. That's why this was done on the day before the weekend. A weekend that could see the saints final football game of the year. A weekend that will have an LSU basketball home game...So the content will be great enough to bury this story come Monday and we may even have another person entirely with T-Bob by that time. Wouldn't shock me at all.

This wasn't at all done because of a single screw up or mistake. It's been coming for some time and I absolutely guarantee that Gordy Rush knew way ahead of time. Because even the boss like him still has a boss at both ESPN and Guaranty that had to approve this to begin with. The fact it's done in the way it has been done tells me and anyone else with a brain that this was thought about and discussed a lot. Honestly I wonder if there is something we don't know yet that Jordy did that made this all come to be. Because a single thing like the interview stuff is not enough to part ways with a guy who has been there since day 1 and has a fanbase like culotta.
His size and defense at the pro level were the big red flags that teams had against him but it would seem he's done enough to go from potential liability all the way to being seen as a player that can be counted on to put in real quality minutes.

And on a team that has serious title hopes let alone just a playoff caliber team.

Thats some elite level work he's put in during his first few years at the pro level. Good for him.
I was on the field. LSU sideline. Dad worked for the ticket office for nearly 20 years. Still have the ticket in its plastic laniard. Best game experience I've ever had.
Seeing as LSU is a perennial top 5 recruiting power and has the ability to challenge for the top overall class each year as well...I think you've got them way too low on that list of yours here.
The fact that Max can run from the pocket and literally opens up an entire facet of your offensive scheme for you....It's gonna be hard to pass up unless Myles is just hands and feet better at throwing and running the offense. Because that's about all Myles has right now over Max, his arm is top notch. But he needs more than a pro level arm to keep Max off the field.
