Stingray is pretty cringe, but I'd still rather listen to him than Roll Tide Willie.

Genuine or fake, that caller was absolutely HILARIOUS. What made it all the more absurd was the fact that Neal Vickers was always in studio laughing uproariously like a donkey every single time she called in.

Those of you who only know of Finebaum from his time on SEC Network are really missing out on what the show used to be thanks to the old school callers like Phyllis, Mildred, B.O.B, Libertee Belle, Shane, and the like.

Vickers laugh really made the show in that era. Wonder if he is still around.

Was Charles the guy who had some sort of surgery about a year ago and called from the Hospital just before being taken to the operating room and said they had given him a 50% chance of surviving the surgery and it was about 4 weeks before anyone knew what had happened?

No, that was Larry who also recently passed. I believe he called in from the hospital on more than one occasion.

Nobody cares but the pansies. He had better get the baseball team back to winning or he won't have anyone to yell at.

Right and also may need to get those TRT meds adjusted.

We also dropped a big pile in Hattiesburg.

Didn’t Auburn schedule a game in Mogadishu during the early Pat Dye years. If I remember correctly they were trying to sign a tackle or some such. They missed as he signed with UGA.

Yes, but keep in mind that was back when Mogadishu State was a solid squad. This was before they caught several warlords buying players and were put on probation. I believe the infamous Black Hawk Down incident was a result of the US sending food aid and NCAA investigators into town.
Why won't the SEC provide a better location for Vol fans to abuse alcohol?

So you think there is absolutely nothing else to do in Birmingham than watch baseball? Nothing?

They could walk around the Riverchase Galleria and see which stores are still in business? Visit the Birmingham Race Course for exciting simulcast horse racing? Vestavia Bowl (not during heavy rains)?
quote:

The park is fine. Just nothing to do outside of watching baseball

This is accurate, and ultimately what will probably cost Hoover the tournament at some point. If you've been to some of the newer MLB parks, they are all trying to be Disneyland now. That's because the younger generation has ADHD from birth and needs constant stimulation or they get bored. Watching a baseball game is not enough for them.
Colorado's problem is they have no depth. The Travis Hunter guy is really good but the number of snaps he played is not sustainable. Buffs are gonna get exposed sooner than later.

Do LSU fans get hangovers or do they just start drinking again?

Did LSU call Pete Golding for advice? Who moves him off the edge?? Like dropping Will Anderson into coverage.
Yes. Still don't know what we really have at this point.

Kinda curious why chicken on a stick hasn't taken off

I think it's because some Auburn fans were forgetting to take the stick out and it became a health hazard for them.

They were so good. I still may put some $ on them. They are way better than this.

Maybe, I'm waiting on my buddy Brad B. to give me some info. Might put a lil money on 'em.
I don't even understand what this is about, but I hope no one is hating on good gas station chicken-on-a-stick.
During the Jim Wells era Bama baseball was a hot ticket in Tuscaloosa. Never to the level of football obviously, but there was a solid following. Gaspard was mediocre at best and couldn't continue what Wells had built. Then the bottom fell out with Greg Goff. I think this coaching hire is crucial for Greg Byrne, and will show whether the administration truly wants to compete in baseball.
