What’s up with the audio on this thing? Not hearing any of the strikes or crowd reactions. Makes it feel really sterile just listening to the broadcast booth.

Plenty of data out there by the time Trump was still making retarded arse decisions.
Hell, I knew all the restrictions were a bunch of bullshite about 4 weeks in. I thought the PT prided themselves on that fact as well, but I guess Trump gets a pass because reasons.

Strikes me as another Outer Worlds, where the initial promo looked amazing and the real thing is janky as hell.
Starfield looks solid. I could waste some hours just hanging on those desolate looking moons. Bethesda really loves them so base building though, and there is just not enough adderall in circulation to make me enjoy that shite.

This game is crack. Need to put it down for a bit or they’re gonna find me under the bridge again.

The story is absolutely laughable, especially considering it’s supposed to be one year away from conclusion.
Anyone remember when D1 was launching and the devs said they were envisioning this as a 10 year space epic on the same level as Star Wars and LotR
Honestly close to D1Y1 levels of shitty, but at least we finally got a 10ft tall tranny in the campaign. Lord knows the fans have been asking for that for years.

I mean champions have been out for 2 years now, and they just realized putting those mods in the arm slot was pretty retarded. That’s what this change strikes me as.
Agreed that more challenge is good, but why not do that while also giving some actual flexibility for the builds they always talk about.

Bruh it’s Bungie
10 years into the life cycle of a game - kind of fair to not give them the benefit of the doubt at this point. Especially considering the track record.

Meh. The issue is that they said they are getting rid of matchgame and just rolled out matchgame on steroids. Basically gonna limit the hell out of viable builds, which the game definitely did not need more of.
Pretty disappointing they’re still not adding matchmaking to higher difficulty nightfalls too.

There’s such a perverse irony in the fact that we are still subjected to all this bullshite advertising between these somber updates.
“The hopes and prayers of everyone are with this young man right now.”
30 seconds later
“Whopper whopper double whopper.”
Not making light of this at all. Just a great microcosm of our corporate world.

At the outset of the crisis, the world’s scientists used their grit and genius to develop new ideas with unprecedented speed; collectively, the COVID vaccines and treatments they produced saved tens of millions of lives. But their historic push for knowledge has lately slowed and sputtered in its tracks. Society spent billions of dollars to answer a single, urgent question: How do you combat a novel respiratory virus? Now, all of a sudden, we find ourselves a little baffled by the follow-up: How do you handle a respiratory virus that is familiar?
I mean I guess. The article still seems to frame the original response to the pandemic and the vaccine itself as the best most genius things ever.

Glad to see this general sentiment. Always so confused when people act like this story is some masterpiece. The only thing cyberpunk really nailed was world aesthetics.
Evidently they have a ton of devs working on the new DLC though, so holding out hope.

Awesome show. Could be an apocalyptic event on earth that made the last humans go to space, and Maura’s brother goes ape shite and decides he wants to be the Mark Zuckerberg of the simulation since it’s preferable to reality.
Got some I want to scream but have no mouth vibes - especially when the group is weaving in and out of the power lines in the walls of the simulation and is facing incomprehensible terror.
Really well done. The ticking seen was fricking bananas.

Someone needs to assemble a master historical record of what really went on through the entire pandemic. The gross abuse of powers, the hypocrisy of allowing mass BLM riots after essentially locking everyone in their homes, the way citizens became an extension of government mandate enforcement, the constantly changing science, everything. Videos, pictures, articles, everything that’s relevant.
I remember a video from a funeral. Chairs spaced 6 feet apart, masks on everyone, maybe 12 people there. The old lady that just lost her husband is sobbing uncontrollably, and two men (presumably her sons) pull up chairs next to her to console her in her grief. The funeral director yells at them to move the chairs back, and they comply.
That time was inherently a blur, but we can never forget what they did to us.
Reading this thread and going back through posts from that time makes me so god damn angry. Our attention spans are fried with the speed of information now, but we can never forget what they did to us.
frick them all to death.
