re: Best time of year to visit Boston?
Posted by AnOddDevice on 1/30/17 at 4:19 pm
We went whale watching. I suppose it's a crap shoot on whether or not you'll see any, but they swam right up to the boat for us. It was an unforgettable experience.
Toured Sam Adams, had Boston Cream Pie at the Parker House Hotel (where it was created), did a guided walking tour around the Financial District (saw Sam Adams' grave, learned a lot about Faneuil), went to the aquarium, toured Fenway, walked through Boston Commons, did the Skywalk at the Prudential Center...my 7 year old daughter had a blast.
Lots of touristy things, but it was a good time. Drank a Sam Adams beer across the street from his grave at the Beantown Brewery. The only place to have a cold Sam Adams next to a cold Sam Adams.
Stayed at the Intercontinental in the Financial District. Nice hotel. Very convenient in terms of walking distance to restaurants and sights.
Get a T pass. Boston has, in my opinion, a very efficient train system.
I'd do it all over again without any changes if I brought a kid. If I were to go back with just adults I'd probably focus a lot more on historical things (although we hit quite a few).
We went in July. While it was hot, it wasn't anything like South LA. It'll be awesome if you go in the fall.

Too bad they won't place nearly as much blame on the jury as they will on the private business owners who had nothing to do with the case...

Just wait till she starts stealing from him. It's only a matter of time.

Playstation Plus Questions
Posted by AnOddDevice on 1/24/17 at 9:16 pm
1. Does a subscription stick with the PSN account? Will one subscription handle both a PS4 and a PS3 (using the same account) simultaneously?
2. Will access to PS+ free downloads remain after the subscription is expired?
Thanks in advance.

I would like to get a "relevant" job this year (sooner than later would be great). Ground level would be fine with me, I really want to learn.

I checked. I thought it was a mobile issue but I don't know.
Seems like different clips from the same season in the same video have different resolutions.
Great vids anyway though. Makes getting through the offseason easier.

Is it me or do a lot of your videos have poor resolution?

They are very tender hearted. You can't beat the shite out of them like you can a lab. They'll freak out.

They are in the top 10 of most cancer prone dogs breeds (according to PetMD) and top 3 in lymphoma (I think).
Labs and Goldens are cancer factories.
Sad, but true.

Looks like your garlic had begun to sprout. I always heard that makes for a bitter taste. Notice any difference?
Also, I'd destroy that right about now. Looks great.

Someone should tell campus security that it's the big building directly across the street from their office. Maybe they're confused.
