re: Credit Card Recommendations…

If you travel internationally, have two cards with no foreign transaction fees. I had to cancel a card while abroad due to fraud (US transaction). Without the second card, that would have been a much bigger issue.

Can’t go wrong with the CSR. After the $300 prepaid gas fee, it takes very minimal

I saw them open for Futurebirds the other night. The live performance was heavier blues than the stuff on Spotify. Give them a listen.
There’s been a few sub $100/month EV leases out there due to rolling in all the tax breaks. Audi New Orleans had a post of the single payment leases available or upcoming. There are some very interesting/reasonable options on very expensive cars. Check it out.

Offroad tires and 4wd help. My Jeep on MTs does pretty well during the winter. My SUV runs BFGs ATs which are a very popular choice but they are 3snowflake rated which you may or not have.

Here’s the thing… once you hit ice, a huge truck will feel weightless. It’s an unsettling feeling.

100% agree. Sure, if you are looking for a comfort style fit with a soft flex you can get away with it. If you are looking for something good, you need to try on a lot of boots at a good shop and listen to the fitter’s recommendations. If you are looking to get a deal, save that for skis.

DMB is the first Sunday

Pearl Jam is on the west coast the first weekend and ATL on Thursday. The last time they played Jazz Fest it was a midday set so it still could be Sunday.

I really hope this attitude catches on
I went to Breck last Friday after the parking lots at keystone were full. The place was crazy packed. 95%+ of the people absolutely suck at skiing/snowboarding.

I suck at golf. I couldn’t imagine making a vacation out of this activity.

Someone on X mentioned the app Watch Duty. It’s very helpful for those like me who don’t know this area well. It shows up to date fire locations as well as evacuation areas.

There is also prescribed burn locations. I don’t know if there is history. There quite a few listed in Cali but I don’t se
The vehicles in our household run a wide spectrum. One can warn about upcoming potholes and tighten seatbelts when it detects an object that approaches unexpectedly. My daily has an inoperable tape player.

I really enjoy the premium features. But I prefer the car with minimal tech and no premium
I’ve had both for a long time. I use the Amex mostly. Centurion lounge and one vacation using Fine Hotels programs pays for the card (hell… the breakfast credit alone for a weeklong stay pays for the card). The points game takes a little more effort and timing (ie Marriott transfer bonuses) compared
