Rentals on False River

Posted by LilWezyAna on 6/6/25 at 6:38 pm
Does anyone know of any people or places that may rent Jetskis at False River? Looked all over the internet, and the consensus seems to be that no companies could sustain rentals like that for such a small and secluded body of water.

Was wondering if anyone here had at connections to an owner over here that may have a local rental setup as a side hustle?

Drafting Zion was the biggest (and dumbest) mistake in this franchise’s history

I mean you draft Zion literally one million percent of the time over everyone else in that draft.

Not one human would have drafted anyone else at 1 at the time. Would’ve just been stupid, even if hindsight looks bad.

Elfrid Payton isn’t as offensively gifted as Jose but he’s an amazing facilitator and I think he could be the backup PG for the team next year on a vet minimum deal

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. Elfrid Payton is absolutely terrible. He can pass, but is not a threat to score at any level and can’t play any defense.

I’m on board with trading Jose for something that helps us, Elfrid Payton is not that something.
6th worst 1st half field goal percentage in recorded NBA history.

Please God end the season now

was holding out on the slim chance for CJ

Honestly surprised CJ didn’t have much of a market for contending teams. His contract isn’t all that crazy anymore with some recent contracts given out, and the dude just consistently does what he’s supposed to do every year. Hasn’t slowed down at all even if he’s getting older.

Name 3 more guards better on D than Herb...

His incredible defense doesn’t matter if he’s shooting 40% from the floor and 30% from 3.

I love Herb and think he may have been playing hurt this year (which might be why it was his worst offensive stretch as an NBA player this year), but there comes a point where great defense simply can’t outweigh bad offense. It’s an offensive league.

If he can’t shoot at least 35-37% from 3, his value plummets as a high level starter in this type of NBA.

I get it and I could explain the psychology but more people would get upset.

Man I don’t even disagree with what you’re saying, but I actively want to disagree, because you talk in such a county way

Makes total sense that your name is “dan the man” lol
quote:

He’s much more fluid, has better body control and balance, and much more confident

This means absolutely nothing. Ball either goes in or it doesn’t, and in Hawk’s case, it’s not going in all that much.

He’s been sacked 67 times already

His O-line struggles, but he may be worse at avoiding sacks than current Russel Wilson, which is about as bad as you can get

He was upset he wasn’t going to be in the starting lineup to start the season and decided to redshirt transfer. They could’ve just said that instead of the “mental health” smokescreen

re: Anyone got any updates on the Bluffs

Any SFV people have inside information on the Bluffs situation? I’d assume the deal is basically dead at this point. Was Callicott just spread too thin or what? He had a whole website with lists of specific plans to fix the course, then nothing

Summer League Frank Jackson
NAW when everyone else is hurt
Playoff Jrue against the TrailBlazers
Karlo Matkovic
quote:

Right so he clearly hasn’t improved any of his weaknesses from last year

And if he never does he can still be a long time NBA player as long as he excels in his role of “flamethrower” and learns how to play defense

He didn’t sit the bench last year because he couldnt be a lead guard or iso people all the time, he sat the bench because he was lost on defense. That’s the most important improvement
quote:

Hawk was disappointing. He’s a sophomore, he should be dominating this space

He was pretty rough, but he’s a smaller catch and shoot, off-ball guard that’s expected to be some lead handler and creator for the summer league team. These guys he’s playing against are still NBA/fringe NBA players. Going in and doing and asking him to excel in the weakest part of his game isn’t an easy thing for him to do

He excels being a part of a good team with good players around him that demand attention. Summer league doesn’t really worry me (unless his outside shot continues to look bad)
quote:

Trey needs to pay attention. Robinson is considered a bad contract with 2 years left at $18 because all he brings is 3 point shooting.

Trey Murphy is one of the most vertically athletic people in the NBA. Comparing him to Duncan Robinson is a travesty

Pelicans haven’t won anything in history and fans saying let go of good players for 25 cents on the dollar.

BI is cool and all, but for our current roster, getting rid of him would be addition by subtraction anyway, plus we’d get some level of picks/role players/flyers in return
I would think Duren isn’t even on the table for them to trade. He’s super young, high upside, and was good enough to be selected for the Team USA practice squad

Don’t see why they’d trade him
