I drove one for 15 years, through college, graduate school, and beyond. One of my favorite vehicles, put over 200K miles on it. Sold it to a high school kid as his first car who was so fired up to get it.

Will would beat your arse for saying he’s from West Monroe, his family is Monroe and Neville through and through.

Lots of us gator hunt up here too.

You should try mixing Blanton’s with Coke.

100% paid by Tulane, one of the few good deals the state has ever struck.
1. Lake Charles -7.3%, 2 Houma -6.4%, 3.New Orleans -5.1%, 4. Lafayette -4.1%, 5. Shreveport -3.9%.

Alexandria comes in at number 10, -2.5%. Surprised to see Odessa at #6 with all the predicted drilling in the Permian. I find this strange, there is nothing for sale in our zip code and when homes come on the market, they go quickly. Still shocked that Louisiana dominates the top 5.

Well shocked may be a bit of an overstatement. Maybe bemused.

Four words. Find your best friend. Anything less than that & 2, 3, 4+ decades becomes an awfully long time. Find the right one and it's gone in the blink of an eye.

Man, this is so true. Married 24 years and I honestly can’t believe it, feels like we just got married. Life sucks if you work all day then dread coming home, I know many in marriages like this.

Mayo’s one year stint gives you confidence?
We were the last to hire but made the best one. I’ll bet that Moore and Johnson are the only ones still coaching in 4 years.

You have to do some serious sunshine pumping and mental gymnastics to spin the Saints’ situation in a positive light. This thread is a joke.

We’re in the middle of a hard reset. I think Loomis eats the cap hit for 2025 and jettisons old players with bad contracts (see Lattimore). We’ll have to draft well, and if we hire MM I see next year as a 7-8 win season. Substantial cap relief for 2026 and beyond, and we can turn the barge in 2 years. It’s not as dire as everyone thinks. The fact we had a 15 year run of consistent success is remarkable, that’s rare in the NFL.

We missed out on him too. Nobody wants this job.

I think McCarthy, Kellen, or Brady are much better options
Ticker just now on ESPN. Terrible hire for the Cowboys. See you again in three years.

I think it’s Sark.

Can only summit during a three week window in April, weather is too treacherous any other time of year, and do not get me started on the unreliable sherpas.

Just the boudin in the red area makes it the best. Dupuys, Riverfront. And Shucks in Abbeville out class all of NOLA by themselves.

I live in northern Louisiana but I’ll fight anyone who says Abbeville food isn’t legit. It’s low key some of the best in the state.

Let me guess, 6th-8th grade? That’s the age previously inseparable friend groups splinter, often orchestrated by moms trying to pull strings behind the scene to make sure their son is in the ‘right group’. Your wife is right. Say nothing. Never beg for an invite to a place you aren’t wanted.

I watched their stream this week, I thought it was very good and was nice to hear guys who knew what they were talking about. Hahnville and Destrehan have student production broadcast so while you get to see the games the commentators will make you hit the mute button quickly.

Right. They work hard to not sound biased, and the production is professional for HS football, so good I think it affects Neville’s game attendance especially in cold weather. Definitely not ‘the biggest homers in the history of announcing’.

I’m surprised Chalmette is still so salty. They were clearly overmatched. The officiating as has been mentioned was horrendous but probably affected us more, as Neville had 2 TD’s taken off the board and we lost our starting tight end for a half next week due to ridiculous personal foul calls.

Edit to thank choupiquesushi for his contribution, he is (obviously) correct, no next game dq for 2 personal fouls, so our TE can play the whole game next week.

What do yall expect on a high school broadcast? I’m not sure I’ve ever not heard an over the top biased high school broadcast. It’s fun. I’m not expecting Kirk Herbstreit out

Try the Neville Tiger Network. Seriously. Stewart Shelby and Robert Lane are really evenhanded, professional. If not for the name, you’d have a hard time knowing who they were broadcasting for.
