The younger age groups don't understand about having some sort of ability to pay their bills. I'm 68 and am very conservative with expenses. I remember being young and spending money on every whim that would come my way. Lots of regrets but thankful for SS to help pay current bills.

Mark Emmert was chancellor back then and made the announcement of Saban being hired. Said something to the effect the if you want to catch a big fish, you have to put your line in deep water. This was in regard to the contract that was given to Saban plus the improvements to the facility that LSU had to make. Total surprise as I remember that Saban was even being considered.
Wife was a charge nurse in one for a time back in the 90's. She'll tell you that if you didn't pay close attention, some clients would be deprived of basic comforts. But, it's a shame when simple human dignity gets degraded like this. I visited one in 1973 as a freshman in high school to provide some basic treats that we as a 4H club had collected. I was so overwhelmed with the suffering and lackadaisical attitude of the staff, I didn't go back to one for 30 or so years. It just had that smell of urine and poop. Some of those poor people were left at the door with a suitcase and a few belongings and left. No visits, no mail, no phone calls. It was pitiful.
Different era. Different expectations. Ridiculous amounts of more money. It's gotten out of hand.
I tend to agree with that. You have some say, but you don't go around saying how much say you have.
Fill it to the rim with Brim. Best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!!
Definitely would play for Kelly. Won at all levels. Needs an NC at LSU to top the cake, but I really believe he's a proven winning head coach.

Mamou's finest.
Exactly!! They know or should know you can't do that. Plain and simple.
Never cared for him from a political standpoint for sure. Don't wish any misery on him. From watching loved ones who struggled with dementia and cancer, his road will be rough. Jesus said we should show love to those who don't love us and I'm going to do that. I pray for him and his family. I will always side with Jesus.
Terrible waste of a young man's life. Too much pressure by social media and self imposed. I hope his family can heal.
A sad ending for a young man with much potential for life.
Kid who did the attack probably has an IEP too. Suspend 10 days and back to class. It's ridiculous.
The federal government was never intended to over public education. State and local jurisdiction are to fund the programs. Special ed. kids are unfortunately caught in the money circle. Being a retired teacher I've seen many a student in special education who really didn't belong there and as soon as they're 18 they opt out because of the perceived stigma.

Patiently waiting for the deposit to hit. Should be around middle of March. God is good!!
But by the grace of God go I. We live in a sinful fallen world. But God loved us so much that he sent his Son Jesus to take upon himself the sins of all mankind. The blood of Jesus is the only way to heaven. The grace he gives us is free to anyone who asks Jesus to come into their heart. This is our only hope this side of the Jordan. Praise God!!!
