re: The big winner today was Oklahoma

You missed the point. Ou routinely destroys the sec teams who aren’t the eventual national champs. That trend will continue in the sec. Ou has not lost to any sec team in the past 20 years who wasn’t in the playoff/BCS title.

2010 South Carolina lost to OU in game 1. OU had them on the ropes later in the elimination game and Jackie Bradley jr hit a walk off 2 run bomb if memory serves. I’ve always felt like it got away from OU but credit to SCAR for rallying and winning it all. Doesn’t happen often after losing game 1 obviously.

Ou will throw Jake Bennett Friday. He is a 1st/2nd round type talent and has been pitching very well this year. He is a 6-7 lefty with mid 90s FB and several other good pitches. Trevin Michael is the extended reliever/closer. He is the real deal (struck out 9 of 12 batters he faced in supers). He possesses mid 90s FB and a Kershaw-esque CB. His change up is also a plus pitch.
A&M likely has the advantage on offense. Ou bats are not as powerful as a Florida or VaTech lineup. Ou is usually disciplined at the plate and speedy on base paths. They have 1 of the best players in the country in Peyton Graham (21 homers and 32 steals). Their best lineup is lefty heavy so left-handed pitchers have eaten them up pretty good the last few weeks especially. A&M bullpen lefties likely will have a good opportunity for success.
Who will A&M start on Friday? I haven’t seen a consistent pattern for y’all’s #1 starter based on the box scores I’ve reviewed. Looking forward to a good, clean ballgame!

Even money that the dude had exhausted his vocab so he just stopped.

Sorry the worst team in the SEC could finish no less than 3rd in your beloved lesser 12
In case you missed it, baylor, a middle of the pack team in the lesser 12 went in dry on one of your middle of the pack teams. I mean they absolutely split them open worse than any sec team had done all year.

Big 12 9 conference games with 10 teams....
DOES NOT COMPUTE. Keep scheduling Mercer in week 10 and keep the inflated rankings for garbage like Missouri, Kentucky, and Florida
You gotta give the sec credit for gaming the system with their scheduling. Until the committee stops rewarding them for this practice they should continue to do it.

Well this displays one of the many differences between the SEC and the Big 12.
No one in the SEC brags about beating Vanderbilt.
OU is fricked
Wait, what?

Interesting part of that stat is that the Oklahoma defense didn’t have to face the leagues to offense
And Bama hasn’t had to face a top offense yet.

RapeU is going in dry on that sec defense.

Member when OU was up 28-24 at halftime on this shitty TCU team. It was a 1 score game midway thru the 3rd. That’s almost as bad as OT vs Army.
Member when A&M was relevant? Yeah, me neither.

A&M has 21 SEC titles since joining the league.
And hasn’t won a conference title in the only sport that matters in 20+ years.

Ok at this point you are just a dumb Homer if you think OUs talent on offense is that much better. I would take Jeudy, waddle and Ruggs over any of your guys,
Speaking of homer, only a Bama homer would take anyone not named jeudy over Hollywood brown. Either side claiming that they have an edge at WR is misinformed and/or delusional, as it is mostly a wash.
The edge goes to bama in the guys who will be covering said WRs, though.

The OU defense is suspect and was exploited by Armys ground game. Oklahoma stacked the box without Army having a passing attack and Army still ran over that arse
You clearly didn’t watch the game, as ou never had a stacked box. In fact their inept former DC played 2 deep safeties all night and never had more than 7 in the box. OU’s defense will be lit up by Bama but get your facts straight.
OU baseball is a top 20 program all time which I would consider very good. You may disagree that that is very good but whatever.
They made a bad hire with Pete Hughes but the new coach will have us back in the cws in a short order.

Ou is making decisions that benefit itself and only itself. This is supported by the fact that OU has been in the top 5 of net revenue every year since the realignment. Not to mention, ou is either elite or very good in every sport besides women’s hoops, and a couple other secondary/tertiary programs that no one GAF about.
The moment that their conf affiliation is deemed to be holding them back either monetarily or competitively, they will be bolting to greener pastures ASAP.

Who tf is Knapp? He doesn’t speak for any other sooner fans, and he is certainly not a power broker at OU. OU has never been afraid of a challenging schedule. The old big 8 was easily one of the top 2 conferences for decades. The big 12 was one of the top 2 conferences until the realignment happened. Not to mention that OU consistently has one of the tougher non conference schedules in the country.

I don’t believe ou will win. I said before the season that keeping Mike stoops would cost ou a title, just like last year.

He would be third string at QBU.
