Save the money and rename all streets to “Cantrell Way”

Did they ever install A/C vents for the folks in the backseat yet?
It always baffled me that they made GMC trucks with crazy features like “Kicker speakers in the tailgate” when I really just don’t want my kids sweating their little faces off in the backseat during Summer month heat. Dropping $70,000 and missing that feature was always a deal breaker in my eyes.

Maybe, just maybe they should focus on sports and not political commentary.
Since I was in high school, ESPN has typically been a station I went to bed with on. I woke up and turned it to ESPN. ESPN was my background noise. At some point if I remember correctly they only had 3-4 shows and they were just on repeat the rest of the day. And THAT WAS TOTALLY OK. I like sports. ESPN was the “mindless” release from the stress of the real world. Then somewhere along the way displaying the stress of the real world and digging into its depths like a damn therapist became their MO. It was exhausting to even have on. I barely watch it anymore.

I’m going to be honest. I’ve been entertained by this game.

How do you NOT throw it there on that Punt?
Those that didn’t see:
Giants Punting
Eagles Coverage Team confused - players running on and off field
Giants Gunner is completely uncovered
Easy throw and big gain

The Saints just assured she won’t today by negotiating with LSU to move their home games to TS. Matt Moscona just had a rant about it and was spot on in thanking the Saints, LSU, etc. for calling her out on failing to do what has been in the city’s best interests for far too long.

Legitimate question:
Does anyone else see the “cut to the marrow” comment and plea for funding as admittance to complete failure under HER leadership? Am I missing how this could be twisted into a positive?

Here’s what you’re in for and I’m telling you this now so you can decide you and your family’s level of commitment moving forward.
The cheer stuff can get super competitive. Better gyms, better coaches, tumbling classes, practice outfits, competition outfits, etc. can all start to rack up. And by rack up I don’t just mean money. The time you dedicate starts to rack up as well. Competitions start on some weekends at 5am and go all day. Some require you to travel. Practice sessions can be 3-4 hours each. Tumbling lessons can be an hour or two. You can see how 2-4 times a week depending on how serious your daughter is trying to get can start to add up.
The ONLY reason I bring it up is so you have an idea of what’s to come. Hopefully you don’t make the goofball move I did by not understanding what a commitment it is on YOUR end if your daughter really starts to like it. I’m good with it because of how much my daughter enjoys it. But I can see how taxing it is for some parents.

Visit a trusted mechanic or mechanic shop and ask for them to one over the vehicle. Have seller meet you at the shop for a neutral location as well. If you were closer to NOLA I’d send you exactly where to go as a buddy of mine has done this for many people at his location.

A buddy recommended RMR 86 Pro. Spray everything inside really well and let it soak an hour or so then run a cycle with a cup or so of it

re: How to handle the "salary expectations" question?
Posted by Tiny Rick on 9/15/20 at 10:43 am
Suggestions:
If possible, speak with HR recruiter about this prior to an interview. Some are better able to handle this than the actual hiring manager depending on where you’re trying to work.
-Ask for salary range
-Ask clarifying questions on range (ex. Is the range based on various levels for the position? “Senior VP vs VP” or “Fry cook level 1 vs Fry Cook Level 6” ) Does this align with your expectations? Do you want a role with growth?
-Ask about other (more important IMO) factors. Benefits? Expense coverage? 401K? Profit Sharing? Etc.
-As an employee dig into who will be your “direct manager/supervisor”. Maybe you’re not a good fit with that person vs a different boss with a similar position that has slightly less pay somewhere else. You want to work somewhere and be happy. Right?
-Based on their answers and your gut feelings you may want to simply let them know “my salary number is negotiable”
The above have worked for me.

what percentage of this demographic is voting, 20%?
I don’t have any factual backing but this is an interesting rabbit hole to go down. It may show that it’s a MUCH higher percentage. Maybe the most to “gain” and nothing to “lose” Demographic being pandered to would turn out in record numbers to keep the status quo of said demographic’s lifestyle? Maybe those running are simply winning off voter fraud. Maybe knowing that type of information would lead more residents to go vote and make change.
I’m all for whatever gets more input from real voters. The last few years have opened my eyes to understand why I was told my whole life “you need to go vote”. I hadn’t voted because I never thought my ONE measly vote was important. I felt that way up until 5-6 years ago. It’s crazy to look at some of the absolute whack jobs at important positions in our country.
