Baskerville played well on runs and sucked balls on pass coverage. You can’t really say he played well overall. Our linebackers and safeties absolutely look lost on every pass play.

The 2017 season was already over when he was hired. His first season was 2018.
Hell, I think the play we ran on 3rd down works if we would have tried it on 1st down.

Despite the final score not being close, I’d say Plumlee’s 200+ yard 4 TD day had as much or more to do with the perception than those two instances.

I agree Pisces. Told my buddy this is light years better than any game reffed by SEC officials.
Why get riled up over what Dick says? All the games are on CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV. No need to even watch ESPN for this tournament.
If the Colorado job comes open, I could see there being some mutual interest there.

He not a scrub. He just inconsistent. against FSU he went like 9/10 the last two drives that went 80+ each that won us the game. He clutch. He just misses the open guy too much. Our dline is great. I know LSU defense gonna travel. I know the guys they have. Chaisson going to be a problem on the edge. But we improved and i'm not sure lsu is.

Did anyone else read this in the voice of Tonto or some other tv/cartoon native american dialect?
When we are on defense, The Scorpions "Rock You Like a Hurricane" needs to be blared on every 3rd down play.
Yep, the shark is still there.
I didn't realize that. Jason Davis was awesome. They had another Jason around the same time that was really good too. Fatter, through. What was his last name?

I think having Etling at QB is going to make a difference in how well the Oline performs. Not because they want to play harder for him, but because of his command of the huddle. When Harris plays, it takes him longer to get the play in from the sideline and too often we break the huddle and get to the line with only 2 or 3 seconds on the play clock. I think that confusion affected Pocic's ability to get the blocking assignments called out.
When Etling came in, he was getting the play from the sideline quicker and breaking the huddle with a lot more time on the play clock which resulted in the blocking assignments being called out sooner so the line had time to listen/adjust and make the correct blocks.I may be completely wrong, (maybe it was just a lesser opponent) but I think not being rushed to snap it due to a dwindling play clock helps calm the line and gives them more time to figure out what they are supposed to be doing on each individual play and that showed in the line play vs. Jax St. as it seemed to pass block better than it did vs Wisconsin.
The best way to send a message would be for nobody to show up and nobody call in. I'd rather see that happen than people lie to get thru and ask questions that he will never answer. But, like others have said, that will never happen in such a staged atmosphere with the likes of Sadie and Evil Twin.
