Seems like that may be a problem with several players. This team needs discipline and accountability.

I've been annoyed for a while when we do the true hurry up after Barber makes a really tough run where he breaks tackles or when he makes two runs in a row. You can tell when barber is gassed. He seems to seek contact and people to run through, he isn't like Mason that could run several quick plays is succession because he was shifty enough to avoid big hits. Everytime Gus does that, Barber is too tired to do anything other than run straight until he hits whatever is in front of him, usually for no gain at that point.
I get that we can't substitute if we want to snap immediately. But have White keep it to give Barber a blow, then come right back to Barber.
To be clear, I like the quick snaps when we get going and Barber can certainly run 2-3 times in quick succession like he did in OT. But not when he has one of those multiple tackle breaking runs where he takes a bunch of shots, which happens regularly.
Barber has been our savior this season but he also misses ALOT of holes. Jovon Robinson needs to get healthy.

Dual guy with legit 4.4 speed is worth the depth. He's Jason Smith basically. Which means we don't have to stall Smith's development by splitting his practice reps
I would be OK with Smith moving back to QB full time. He should be the wildat/goaline QB now.

He's a JUCO. What benefit is there in recruiting a kid with limited eligibility and then hoping he can magically learn to play another position in the limited amount of time he has? Seriously?

Great stat. I knew it was bad but not that bad.
I'd probably go with TAMU b/c it absolutely derailed us for the rest of the 14 season.

This has to be a joke. Plese tell me we really aren't gonna take a 5'10 170lb JC QB. Gus has officially lost it both on and off the field.
It'll be a fricking miracle if we pull this game out.

fricking pathetic play calling. Throw the ball on 1st down aND keep them guessing. We've run the dive play the last 3 times on 1st down. We're playing not to lose...

It never fails when we get a lead......Gus goes all impotent. Back to the same old shite. Run up the middle on 1st and 2nd down....throw on 3rd.

I honestly think JJ gives us the best shot long term b/c of the deep ball and his running ability. Yes, there will be more growing pains but I really think the kid would eventually figure it out.

We aren't good enough to not take some chances to win. It's like we're just playing to keep it close. His decisions are becoming more and more bizarre.
Exactly......I've wondered the same thing. White plays his heart out but we needed a true dual-threat QB with an real arm. Gus has set us up for failure trying to prove he doesn't need a running QB for this offense to be successful. Gus's ego will be his downfall.
