When I saw Bear make contact with that last pitch, my jaw literally dropped. I was completely speechless.
One of the best LSU baseball endings we’ll ever see!

I wish I could call into my job and say I couldn’t work today for “personal reasons.”
Must be nice to get a $400,000+ paycheck per game and take a day off whenever and not play any back-to-backs.

On the plus side, embrace the tank! We need a new franchise player, one who can consistently play over half the games in a season.

Whoever are in charge of Pels TV contracts and PR may be the worst individuals working in those capacities in all of pro sports.
I used to watch almost every Pels game; I have not watched a single Pels game this year due to lack of access (first) and lack of interest (after the first 2 weeks).
Don’t tell me I just need an antenna when there is no easy way to attach the antenna to the back of my wall-mounted TV’s.

A playoff spot is a MUST next year. Must beat a Clemson team whose coach hates the transfer portal, go undefeated at home (certainly doable with that slate of home games), beat OK and Vandy on the road, and just split the Ole Miss/Bama road games. A playoff spot is all but guaranteed to a 1-loss SEC team prior to the SEC Championship Game.

Even if we were to lose a 2nd game, our playoff chances would be high with that schedule.

BK has no excuse next year.

It is VERY hard to win the 2nd game of two consecutive SEC road games. And we have lost our last 3 games in College Station (although the result of the 7 OT game in 2018 was a joke).

It will take a special game from our boys to win this one.

I agree that you take a gold medal anytime they offer you one.
The Kiwi high jumper wanted to share gold, so it was all up to the Bama kid. He chose poorly.

Not accepting the gold is like winning the lottery and going to a casino and throwing all that money on a spin of the roulette wheel.
He lost a lot of money in endorsements because of that decision.

Karlo is our starting center

Barring a trade for a center with BI as the centerpiece, which Griff just said is not “mechanically” possible now, Karlo Matkovic is our best hope at starting center to begin the season. He’s a stretch 5 that will create more space on offense than JV did, and he is a quicker player on defense.

We just don’t have anybody else on the roster to fit the role of starting center. Missi is way too raw and lacks the necessary bulk. Theis is 6’8” and has been a role player for most of his 7-year career; we can’t expect him to suddenly morph into a starting-caliber center in year 8.

Let the Karlo Krazies rejoice!
