Gymkhana. Indian, very, very good. You'll need to make a reservation.
We did Hanoi, Sapa and Ha Long Bay cruise. Hired a driver to spend a couple of days in Sapa. Great trip and everything is cheap.

Did a bowhunting plains game trip to SA pre-covid and shot two impala, warthog and kudu. I had the kudu euro mounted,$200, had the wart hog skull bronze plated, $450 and the two impala skulls were euro mounts and mounted on a Zulu shield $650. Total taxidermy work was $1,300 and it was all great work. $1,100 to have them crated and shipped to Atlanta. Shipping costs would obviously be more if these had been shoulder mounts. I think I paid the customs broker in Atlanta $500 to clear customs which is a set fee regardless of crate size. I picked the trophies up at the custom brokers warehouse near the airport in ATL so you would have additional costs if you wanted it shipped somewhere else in the States.

The tip costs discussed earlier were dead on. We also tipped the driver that took us to and from the airport, about a five hour drive to the camp. Once you are at the camp there is no place to spend money. Alcohol was even included in the price. Below is a link to the taxidermist we used. I couldn't find the price list they sent but I'm sure they would send it if you email them. Usually the outfitter will have a taxidermist they work with and will drop your trophies off after the hunt. Great communication with the taxidermist and the customs broker. Really easy to deal with and they sent pictures as they were working on the mounts and after they were done.

Hattiesburg has plenty of gas with no lines. Plenty of non ethanol just off I59 north on Highway 49.

This is how ordering at Popeye's works

"You place an order. At most other restaurants, you would wait for the food. This is not the case at Popeyes. The order, having been placed into their system, is now reviewed by a central computer housed somewhere above flood level in the New Orleans suburbs. It’s probably in Metairie. Metairie feels like the right place to put a giant supercomputer dedicated to rectifying incorrectly arranged fried chicken orders.

No, the food is then rearranged into the proper order for you by the AlTron 4800, and beamed back to the restaurant for packaging. You ordered a two-piece spicy with red beans and rice? No, you got a three piece mild with green beans. There are two biscuits in the bag. Why? Because the AlTron 4800 knew you were a little weak in terms of gut flora, and that you needed some easy chicken work to go with that necessary vegetable matter. The lack of red beans and rice is to teach you humility; the extra biscuit is to remind you that blessings, while random and surprising, are real. God might not respond, but he doesn’t cheat you. Neither does Popeyes."

Used it in Tokyo no problems.
I felt safe everywhere in Vietnam and the people were very friendly. Never felt like there was any animosity towards us because we were American. The most dangerous thing you'll do there is get in a car or moped. Stoplights and traffic lanes are just a suggestion there. Craziest drivers I've ever seen.
We did the Hanoi, Sapa, Halong triangle. All abut 3-4 hours from Hanoi, great food and cheap. Bowl of Pho for breakfast for $1, super nice hotel for $35, beer 50 cents. Wanted to make Hoi An/ Da Nang which looks great but couldn't fit it in. Cant go wrong there. You'll have a blast. Awesome trip.

Went to Acadia a couple of years ago and did the cottage rental. You probably want to stay in Bar Harbor as there are plenty of restaurants and shopping. Definitely do the sea kayaking and try the bike rentals. Lots of bike trails and there is a shuttle that will take you and your bikes up to the trails. Try the lobster pounds for cheap lobster. We flew into Boston and spent a couple of days there and drove up to Bar Harbor. Did some white water rafting on the way back to Boston which was really nice. Not sure if they still run rafting after Labor Day. A nice trip.
Just did a flight to Tokyo. I used Google flights. We flew ANA, try them awesome Japanese airline. We had to connect in Chicago going over and LAX on the return and the domestic flights were United. We booked everything though United as they partner with ANA. It was cheaper to book thorough United than through ANA.
