I'd rather do a guided hike there. Any suggestions on who to use?
I can also use my AllTrails app to navigate so I don't get lost. My only concern is that we have a Taku Lodge Excursion from 12:30-4:00pm and the ship leaves at 9:15pm.

Roger what can you tell me about hiking to the ice caves in Juneau?

Roger would you suggest hiking the Harding Ice Field Trail or taking a guided glacier hike at Exit Glacier? (is it worth the 130 per person to strap on crampons)? Already taking a 6 hour cruise into the kenai fjords national park.

Just Go With it should be in the top 5. It's got nothing on Waterboy, Billy Madison or Gilmore but its underrated. Brooklyn Decker is on fire. LINK

re: Alaskan Cruise - looking for advice/suggestions

My wife and I are taking a 7 night from Vancouver to Anchorage the first week of June. I don't have any tips or suggestions seeing as this is our first trip to Alaska other than searching "Alaskan Cruise" on this sight and checking out previous threads and tips generous people have given me. Should be a blast!

Thanks everyone! However we have a slight change of plans. Instead of heading to Homer we're going to stay near Girdwood (any hiking suggestions?) and head to Cooper Landing to do some rafting before heading to Seward. We're also looking to doing some ice hiking near Seward if anyone has been and has your recommendations? Thanks again!

Thanks for all the info everyone! One more question... Has anyone done the land tours near anchorage/Seward after or prior to the cruise?

Was the train ride (land tour) to Denali worth it?

Decided on taking an Alaskan cruise next summer for my honeymoon. Any folks been? If so, any information would be appreciated. Looking to gather info regarding Preferred Cruise lines, excursions, land tour pre/post cruise to see the interior of the state, etc.
Thanks
