I work for one of the German luxury brands and yes, everyone is well aware that the price tag of every vehicle we produce has risen much, much quicker than inflation. Every single model. Take the L, buddy.

There are little to no car enthusiasts that are avid Toyota lovers and there's a reason for that. Toyota puts no passion into the driving experience. Toyota sees their cars as appliances and places reliability over anything else. It saddens me to see so many people that are fine with an absolutely boring car to drive.

I'm also engineer that is employed by a rival company so I do have a bias.
Toyotas are boring.

Audi salesman one time told me that you fill up on the right side so in the case of an explosion, it's further from the driver. That was the day I knew never to trust car salesmen, the fuel tank is in the center of the car.

Car and Driver said the new Titan was one of the worst long-term test vehicles that they've had this century. Their article made the Titan sound like an absolutely atrocious vehicle.

No they weren't. They first generation Honda Insight was right behind the Prius to the market. It had better fuel economy than the Prius, but was hideous, highly impractical, slow, etc...

Edit: The Honda Insight was actually the first hybrid to go on sale in the US market from a major automaker.

I worked for an automaker as an engineer in South Carolina for 5 years. You mouth off some of the most incorrect information regarding automobiles more than anyone else on here. It's almost incredible how off-base you are.
