Fricke it. I’m getting in the car from Nola and heading to BR with my 5 year old right now. It’s time for the boy to become a man. Tigers 12 - hogs 3

You’re a crazy SOB and I love it. Thanks for the update. Planning on driving up to the box from NOLA with my son.

WWL sports radio (which is more commercials than actual content) is another arm of the saints media team. I don’t think those hosts with Cush jobs would risk the wrath from team management that would come with consistent criticism.

Sure. Ubers infrastructure is valuable. It’s not hard to see a scenario where a company utilizes their platform.
There’s also nothing preventing Uber from purchasing FSD vehicles to employ in their fleet.

This is an embarrassment to the city. We have an owner more interested in car dealerships than putting a winning product on the court. There is not one bright spot in this franchise.
I don’t give a fricke how many people are hurt. Players and coaches shouldn’t sleep after a performance like this.

Add one of the most liberal politicians in America on the verge of being elected president to your equation.

Turn on the game. Pride stuff everywhere. Team advertising in language other than the native language. Getting demolished.

Did the governor say something about the ownership group trying to bring a team to New Orleans as well?

There used to be an expedited passport facility in the canal place building in NOLA. Not sure if it is still there.

I keep hearing they are worried about defense in the pick and roll.
How in gods name could the defense be worse than with Nance in the game? The lakers may have set a record for dunks last night.

There is a massive population of attorneys 10+ years in who don't gross $100k/year in LA. It would not shock me if that population approached the median.
This is certainly not the case in New Orleans. Not even close to being correct.
I think some in this thread are hyper-fixated on the govt and non profit sectors. Do those positions exist? Sure. But taking one of those jobs is a personal decision (often made before law school).
If the OPs daughter does decently well in school, she will almost 100% clear 100k relatively shortly into her career at a private firm—maybe even on day 1 of her first job.

I"ll never understand New Orleans pretending Loyola gets any better of student than Southern
The top 25% of Loyola produces some great lawyers. The school (likely for financial reasons) accepts a lot of students who are not qualified for law school.
I’d venture to say most of the top students at Loyola were also accepted to LSU, but decided to go to Loyola because they are from New Orleans or got a bigger scholarship.

Law school doesn’t matter (unless it is southern) if you want to practice at any big firm in New Orleans. More important to be top of your class, law review, etc. and make the on campus interview process.
Once you move away from the big firms, grades and rank matter. But not necessarily whether you went to lsu, Tulane, or Loyola. The middle tier firms are more interested in good cultural fit.
If you want to move outside of New Orleans, don’t go to Loyola.
You will hear a lot of negatives about the profession from both lawyers and non lawyers. The truth is, being a lawyer can be a great profession, from both an earnings and happiness stand point.

That’s way too high. I’m in Nola area with same coverage, plus 100/300 UM, and comp and collision, for $1400 every 6 months on a 2019 and 2023 vehicle
