Sorry i should have phrased that better. Was more curious as to what was the injury? Ankle? Knee? Etc.

Gooden Injury

Did they ever say what was the status of Gooden? Sorry if already posted, been a busy weekend.
I wouldn't say he is crying. He gave us props for getting the highest guys in the portal and props for coaching them up.

Tap the brakes?

The offense didn’t even have the car started Saturday. That’s the issue … what an idiot
SeC games I can see where people get upset. But these smaller games are more attractive for people who want to bring kids etc. if it’s a blowout and you have small children with you I will not be upset with you leaving early to beat the traffic if you have to. There’s some more important things than watching the second string play.
“If you didn’t know LSU’s roster would you have come to that conclusion just watching the first game as a casual fan? Other teams have really good players too.“

THIS. A fan of a certain team will also see an above average player on their team as more of an impactful player than someone of the same caliber on another team that isnt a household name in my opinion.

He just isnt sec caliber as of now
Quidditch openers are on Saturdays?

Jokes aside, I too am stoked we play Saturday as well.
Jelani Smith…didn’t pan out at Arkansas tho
You’re right. Thanks for a normal educated response. I don’t think I’d be as concerned if we had some tune up games but having Clemson on the road is what makes it concerning

Its from the local media’s reports who actually attend practice….

Seven plays from a goaline drill and reports from 11 practices. See the other comments. We have been talking about the OL struggle since camp started. Figured it didnt need to be said but yeh im just going off those 7 plays only.

Appreciate the solid post. I just bring up an area of concern with redzone rushing against second team D and im getting blasted like i said we will be last in the sec in rushing and finish 8-4. It’s a message board to talk sports and yet everyone melts if you don’t agree we are the next coming of 2019 LSU. Hell even chicken made it seem like i was saying we are doomed. Everyone has a weakness at this point right now and i wanted to possibly discuss what could we do to try and improve. That escalated quickly.

Same as most of the other 10 practices. Not good/consistent. Interior line is a problem at this moment.

All im saying is it concerning we cant run the ball on our second D in goaline offense. We are 11 practices in and the oline is still getting whooped regularly. Think there is enough film/reports to say that is our weakest link by far. In 2019 we were not breaking in a whole new oline. Irrelevant comment.

7 run plays - no yards gained

Concerning a bit with this stat. This is between first and second offenses. First offense was going against second D. We only had one play with positive yards and it was a 2 yard gain. Beleive this was in redzone/goaline offense.
