re: Mulkey responds to Washington Post hit job coming
Posted by Geaux Piggins Geaux on 3/23/24 at 2:15 pm
Yeah coming in on a Tuesday and expecting a response when you know that the subject won't have enough time to do so is journalism malpractice. Idk what the story is about, but I suspect it won't be anything that would get her fired/suspended. The only worse case scenario I could see is the article b...

Could the public money just be for the work that would have to be done for utilities added to BR's grid?...

Might be a good time to read Michael Crichton's novel "Airframe".

If you've kept up with the news about Boeing, this synopsis might sound familiar. I read this book when I was a teenager and enjoyed it. Just might have to reread it soon.

I kind of see their thinking here. Would the PMAC still be used for other events like graduation or other smaller attended sports like volleyball?...
Nope, but the Friday before the Baseball series in Houston I was driving over there listening to T-Bob and Hester and T-Bob was talking about the rumors and one was that Kate was in a coma or maybe brain dead and they were hiding it.
I know some of speculation about her being dead ...

At this point someone should just go to the apartment door, stick in a single piece of uncooked angel hair pasta into the keyhole, and just snap it off after inserting it. You won't be able to use your key to unlock the door. You can't use your hands to pull it out so you have to get a locksmith reg...

I just hope they get rid of the stupid "Coca Cola" logo above the screen and below the tiger head. That sport should say "Tiger Stadium". Besides the "Welcome to Death Valley" sign in the SEZ, we don't have a sign that says Tiger Stadium inside the stadium....

I stand corrected. Thank you for pointing that out. Now that's a more encouraging sign for a better arena....

I think Texas's new arena is certainly what LSU's new/renovated arena should be oriented towards design-wise. It's a beautiful arena. However, one thing to keep in mind is that Texas had a real estate developer that specializes in sports pitch in to help fund the construction. Austin essentially doe...
re: LSU Board to vote on moving bullpens, add seating on Friday

A few things:
1. I have a feeling placing the home bullpen underneath the bleachers might be a bad idea. I just know they're gonna frick up puting a ceiling that won't leak beer and coke down on the pitchers warming up. Not to mention the stomping and rattling from the crowd above. Especially if t...

I always get disturbed when I see this image of a B-17 that had just been hit by flak, ripping off part of the wing. I don't know how you would be able to bail out of a plane spiraling out of control like that.
