So he managed his time so poorly as the TIGHT END COACH he needed to sleep at the office.

I think Waters is smarter than that. He'll come back for at least for next year and make a run. Nothing boosts your draft stock like a solid showing in the tourney a la Justice Winslow, Sam Dekker, Kemba Walker, Stephen Curry, Raymond Felton (or the fact that four tarheels, including Felton, got drafted in the first round that year they won the chip)

I would that the only weakness of the team would be floor spacing. The only proven shooters from behind the three point line will be Waters, Edwards, and Sampson. The need for spacing will propel to get Edwards more playing time then he otherwise would considering that others in the rotation posses greater overall talent.

Would absolutely love for Williams to come!
Just odd to me that we are in contention for his services and definitely speaks to Wades tremendous recruiting ability. We have quite the log jam of talent at the power forward position. I would imagine in the scenario that he comes Reid would slide to more minutes at center just not so sure how thrilled he would be at that move.

LSU Basketball 2018 Potential is Real

Going to pretend like football doesn't exist for a minute and deflect...
This years basketball team has been a revelation and exciting to say the least. This is not at all meant as a slight towards or to intentionally look past this years basketball team, but they just do not have the talent to contend. I do however immensely enjoy the complete revolution in coaching and culture, as well as the great hustle shown by our guys this year, but I would like to take a second to look forward towards the potential that the 2018 team has of potentially contending.
We are looking at fielding a potential line up of...
PG WATERS: MAYS/SMART
SG SMART: MAYS
SF SAMPSON: EDWARDS: RACHAL: ALEXANDER
PF REID: SIMS/DAYS
C BIGBY-WILLIAMS: KIIR
Not to get overly ambitious, but there is enough talent here to truly contend for a deep run in the tourny. With Will Wade and his staff coaching these guys "the ceiling is the roof".
