This is in a city with pro teams in a Midwestern state with awful college teams. Nobody here cares about college football, this kind of thing is very common when I try to talk college football. Trust me, before I moved out of the south I didn't think it possible either.
Auburn 12-0
Alabama 10-2
LSU 8-4
Ole Miss 8-4
MSU 7-5
Arkansas 6-6
Texas A&M 5-7

Georgia 11-1
Tennessee 9-3
Florida 7-5
Kentucky 7-5
Mizzou 6-6
South Carolina 5-7
Vandy 4-8

Hell, I still don't believe it myself
It's kind of hard to avoid it with either guy because I work around them all day and they know I like to talk sports. They also start up the conversations now because before I realized how dumb they were I brought up Auburn's upcoming games with their respective teams.

It's also like trying not to look at a car wreck. As frustrating as it is, it's also entertaining and provides me with some good laughs.
Correct them or nod your head and let them live on blissfully ignorant?

I work with a guy from Louisville, says he's a fan.
-He insists that Auburn and Louisville play in football all the time and played in the last few years (they've played once in 1974.)
-He claims Louisville played for and lost a national championship in football in the last decade.
-He's certain that Kevin Ware broke his leg in the National Championship game just this March.

This guy I don't even attempt to correct because he's beyond helping.

Another coworker is an LSU fan who knows just enough to hold a conversation about college sports.
-He was worried that LSU and Auburn wouldn't play each other this year because they don't play much. Being in the same division doesn't mean you play every year, as evidenced by LSU and UGA rarely playing.
-He said LSU never loses at home, "at least not in the 20 years I've been watching them."
-Informed me Auburn hasn't been any good since Eli Manning played QB for AU.

This guy I corrected on all counts, but he's brighter than the Louisville fan.

Georgia fan starts thread about being insecure and puts Auburn #1, failing to see the irony. Typical.
Basically every starter not named Jeremy Johnson, Carl Lawson, and Duke Williams.

All our starters are badass but those three get all the hype.
Hell yeah. Jail would probably do her some good

I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
How many girls should I expect to already be divorced at my 10 year reunion in 4 years?

Don't you think it'd be wise to hold us to less than 50 before you make pee wee football jokes?

A goddamn national hero!
Bad move, he'll lose his investment. The government doesn't want clean energy, that's the only reason we don't have it yet.

Most people look small next a 6'6" 250 guy. The third string true frosh is also 240.

Sean White is bigger than Drew Brees and he's the next Drew Brees, so....
The last half describes most of the locals I met in Indiana. Spent a year working about halfway between Indy and Lafayette.
