What’s his dads name/where did he play high school ball?

The quality made me assume there were not lights installed specifically for the light show, seems like I’m wrong about that. That’s fine, glad I am educated.
Quality still felt a notch below other places I’ve seen the same light shows at.
I’m always surprised about how angry people are all the time on this board… get some help guys

Well in the least I don’t think the wristbands should make a return. Too many bad apples in the crowd only caring about having their fun, not worried about fan or game experience.

You’re trying to hard buddy, I’m just asking questions here.

So why didn’t they seem to be used and why did they need wristbands?

First off glad LSU tried something new. The quality compared to other schools definitely wasn’t there.
Bama, Tennessee, etc opted to actually install lights at the top of the stadium ($1.5-$2.5M) and LSU decided to give out plastic wristbands $150kish (pretty sure OLOL paid for them).
Not only did we go cheap and diminish quality but also experience. Wristbands were flying all over the stadium all night which was not fun.
Hopefully that pushes LSU to make the light upgrade? Maybe it was a test run for the future? Yalls thoughts?

LSU-Inspired Apparel by a 12-Year-Old Tiger Fan – Would Love Your Feedback!
Posted by BWA2015 on 9/8/24 at 5:13 pm
Hey Tiger Nation! (if this isn’t the right board, I'll happily move this post!)
I wanted to share a cool project my 12-year-old son took on this summer, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Back in May, he came to me with a goal: to make enough money to buy the new CFB video game releasing in July. I told him if he wanted it, he'd have to earn it. His first question was, "What’s the one tip you'd give me to start my own business?"
My advice? Don’t be afraid of taking risks, and do something you’re passionate about. Well, he LOVES LSU, and fast forward to September, he’s officially launched his own LSU-inspired apparel store featuring retro-style T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts.
I’m dropping the link here to get some honest feedback on the designs. I know you all won’t hold back, and that’s exactly what he needs to learn from. I’m beyond proud of him, but I also want him to experience the reality of customer feedback.
So please, take a look and let us know what you think! He’s created designs featuring some of your favorite Tigers—past and present—and he’s eager to improve based on your feedback. Thanks in advance!

Cmon man, they’re gonna obviously take a step down from the greatest coach of all time but don’t fool yourself into thinking they don’t have the infrastructure and program in place to remain a threat.
& yes I’d take the tigers over the next 5-10 years

re: Transfer Portal Inactivity

Why is it that we just wouldn’t bid for some one like Walter Nolen? What’s different about LSU than the schools that are bidding for him?

Thanks for that link, I hadn’t seen that yet!

I’m excited about that one, hope we can land him, I saw that his offer would be around $500k in NIL opportunities.
I’m more so curious about us not being mentioned for positions of need on the defensive side of the ball. Some very good DBs/LBs have hit the portal and we weren’t mentioned with really any of them.
Transfer Portal Inactivity
Posted by BWA2015 on 12/9/23 at 12:47 pm
It seems like LSU hasn’t been mentioned in many of the top transfer talent landing spots (granted it could be just going on more being the scenes). Coming from a place of curiosity, would the reasoning be:
More likely that Matt House is getting fired and we cannot offer kids the stability promise of a defensive staff?
OR
Are we just not forking out dollars in the transfer portal this time around as compared to last year?

re: Defensive Coordinator Mega Thread
Posted by BWA2015 on 11/5/23 at 8:32 pm
If your argument to keep a coordinator is recruiting based:
1. You are looking at things very short sighted
2. That speaks volumes to the actual coaching ability of said coordinator
To be a successful coordinator in the SEC, you need to be superb at recruiting AND coaching, there are guys out there that can do that if House can’t.

X video is a perfect way to describe it, the way he went raw on the Auburn QB
re: Weeks or Speights
Posted by BWA2015 on 9/29/23 at 9:06 am
This is unnecessary man, Whit is playing well and playing hard for sure. But don’t imply that the other guys are not playing hard as well. Speights transferred here and we should appreciate all he gives to the team also.

You’re right, we probably just toss dive it and call it a day on a way to running away on Florida State
Regardless, it’s refreshing that I for once have the utmost confidence in our coaching staff to do a damn good job for not only evaluating but developing our talent
