His yards per attempt were still horrible.

7.7 YPA is horrible? Ohhhkaaay.

Kiffin is the name that keeps coming up and is the obvious fit.
Better fit at Florida. They think he’s Spurrier 2.0. I can see the similarities. Personally I’d rather beat him than have him running our team.
I was at that game. Crazy legs! One of the few highlights in the early 90's.

they're flying in a jet but the sound is a prop.

It's the sound from the source material, Zero Hour, which is a prop plane.
TCM once played both back to back many years ago. It was a fun double feature.

The only difference

The only difference?
vs. LSU - 366 total yards to LSUs 316; TOP=37:46
vs Miami - 141 total yards to Miami's 344; TOP=23:30

I'm far from a Miami fan but they beat Florida in every category. LSU did not.
Not to worry though Tigers are undefeated and control their destiny just like Miami.

Looked good on TV?
Agreed. Looked pretty gold from the overhead shot. Closer shots of the crowd showed a lot more purple sprinkled in but from the air? Pretty good. Close enough for LSU.
Thanks for posting the highlights. Great game!
Good to hear Keith Jackson again too.

It was my Birthday and was sitting, well standing and jumping around, in Section 228 North end zone.
Those too young to remember have no idea how awesome it was to win that game. Finally felt like Curly had vanished from the rear view mirror.

I prefer not to remember the following game.

:geauxtigers:
Ole Miss
Miss State
Bama

We've played State 117 times. It may not be lopsided but that is a long history to just toss aside. But knowing the SEC they'll give us Florida or A&M instead.

I think they should have the old Big12 teams play as permanent rivals.

used to play rivalry weekend every year.

Such a strong rivalry that they changed it to A&M when they joined the SEC.

and arky is our main rival game

What, what? SMH Are you from Arkansas or something?

It lost steam toward the end and felt overly drawn-out.
I felt it was drawn out in the beginning and took a little while to come together. I really didn't like any of the characters but by about episode 3 or 4 I was all in and loved the Akram character, then Rose and finally came around to liking DCI Morck. It really is well done.

Now I want more and I'm interested in watching the Danish movie series.
Post route for TD! :dude: :geauxtigers:

It was divine providence that we won.

No...It was the French.

Think Coastal is right up there with LSU and Arkansas as a team that’s going to be difficult to beat.

That right there is how I feel about it.
The winner of the LSU/Arky game will be a strong contender but Coastal has a strong team and I think that bracket comes down to them and Oregon State.

I liked how the son who was raped ended up being a badass

He just needed to get that monkey off his back. All good now...Except for Conrad and Maeve.

ETA: I never thought I could dislike a Helen Mirren character as much as I dislike Maeve. Even my wife was like, "she's such a count."
I’m pullin’ for Western Kentucky only because I’d love to see Ole Miss bounced from their own regional without a win.
Checked this thread before the game today and someone posted that the bats needed to wake up snd put up runs. Mission accomplished.

Did this guy just learn the term “crooked number” and is now trying to do his best to wear it out in one 3 game series?
