Bress obviously not to blame.., and it’s silly to suggest that

Loomis is who the blame lies with

Tom could have chosen a wife who had a son, nephew, brother or hell a neice or sister who was a football fan… team would have been in better hands with Rita
Crazy it’s just a 5 dollar late fee charge

but it's not like we just landed 40 consensus top 4-5 stars out of the portal.

I only apply the “star” ratings to high schoolers… we getting P4 transfers…these guys expected to perform… you could sometime expect and accept a 4-5 star player out of high school underperforming for what ever reason… but no way in hell you expect or accept someone getting paid top money to underperform… no business works this way

Kelly had 4 years to win one and didn’t

Lane should have same expectations

No… the standard is 3 years… the hell with BK got 4 Lane should too… Lane got LSU outspending every other program in the country… he better be on or just below the same level coaching-wise as Cignetti who doing it with lesser players

Why can’t people just enjoy a season of football without all the “gotta win the national championship “ banter.

What’s with all the Tiger Emojis and BOOMS than???… doesn’t that create anticipation which naturally would make one think of expectations???… our QB room has more money invested in it than the Saints, Jets, and Texans(C.J. only 4 million in salary this year)… you a damn fool if you believe them type of investments don’t come with immediate expectations

What outsiders???…every fan I talk to from a another school has penciled us in the championship next year… we should be able to discuss expectations amongst ourselves

Are you implying that we shouldn’t have even bothered if it doesn’t guarantee a natty in the next 2-4 years?

No at all… I’m implying(asking) when is actual coaching going to come into play… clearly the way the team being build “ain’t no diamonds in the rough” type players… all these transfers seem ready to play… if we fail to make the playoffs(which LSU should always make a 12-team playoff) or win the natty is Lane era here a failure?

LSU should be a perennial playoff team, that’s the expectation

Ok… let me ask it this way… is it all for naught if we don’t make the playoffs the next 6 years??

Unreal expectations

We killing it in the portal… ain’t no question we building the most talented team on paper… is all this for naught if we don’t win a championship in the next 2-4 years???… it seems Lane has put the onus completely on coaching… not having the talent wont be an excuse…
My Grandma said supper… lunch wasn’t a concept at my Grandma house… she cooked breakfast…watched Price is Right and the stories(soap operas) from10-3 than started supper… between breakfast and supper was either Spam, potted meat, Vienna sausages, bologna, lunch meat, fried buffalo ribs(fish), tuna, hog head cheese or skillet patties( hot water cornbread)

The logistics are a nightmare. It just is not feasible to host 12 volleyball matches, 15-17 men's basketball games, 15-17 women's basketball games, and 5-6 gymnastics meets in that shitty building. It would cost LSU a LOT of money. Where will the teams practice? What will they use for locker rooms?

I don’t know… doesn’t seem that hard to pull off… The River Center in better shape than the PMAC… LSU going spend a lot of money regardless… this a cheaper route than trying to build another arena… teams can practice in UREC

Do they though???

No, no, and HELL no. This is not a viable option and is a terrible idea.

Why exactly???… it’s 10 minutes (w/o traffic) from the PMAC

LSU basketball has been left behind in the SEC

Starts with high school basketball in the state…
Austin ain’t exactly a food haven.., only so much BBQ you could eat

Get plans for a new arena finalized and construction started, but do it right. The new coach can add whatever smaller details once hired if it is not too late.

Only thing I disagree with… super-renovate the PMAC…team can play in the River Center until it’s done I couldn’t imagine where they would put a new arena

Now they passed another law, like NY has in place where a relative can get paid to "take care" of an elderly relative.

This ain’t no new law… this available anywhere in America

College is a time of learning, exploring, and FUN....the business/money comes after college. And I believe that most will agree that this is correct.

I disagree… think about the amount of money these players making… it proves the NCAA and universities should have been came up with a way to pay the players… CFB makes billions… who more deserving to get paid from CFB than the actual players

So can we get away with what we have? Yes. Could it make our defense much better if we upgraded at corner? Yes.

Corner probably behind OL and WR for me… really it’s BPA sans running back and linebacker for me …

We need guys like Jason David and Jerome flowers (I’m dating myself).

Unless you reimagining him playing in this scheme Davis was terrible here… it’s a stretch to say we run that same Cover 2 the Colts ran… wouldn’t our defense be better described as a Cover 3 Man defense??
Dabo needs to get off his high horse… he know damn well Watson, Watkins, and plenty more didn’t play for Clemson for free
