Silly me - I thought the point was to tax remittances in order to fund construction of the wall, not to spend more money cracking down on a black market. Ryan is going to have to increase projections on the cost of the wall. We need more money allocated for detection and seizure of remittances going over and under the wall.

Hard to use that money to pay for a wall when it cost you more to catch the money smugglers and launderers than the money you seize. That too is inevitable. History lessons will have to be re-learned here as well. God, our public schools are awful.
