Terence Roberson Jr Committed to Arkansas

Gilmer, Tx. They use to be the Standard in 4AD2 football in Texas. Until Pleasant Grove started winning.

Gilmer has been to and won a state championship more recently than Pleasant Grove.

Many of the untapped gems from Arkansas go play in that confernece. OBU and Harding are powers there and many other programs like Arkansas Tech, Southern Arkansas, Arkansas-Monticello, etc all play there, too. Lots of Texas and LA kids at the schools in the southern half of the state as well. It's very good DII ball. Some of the best in country. A couple NFL players used to come out of those programs every few yrs, but now they are getting sucked into bigger schools in the portal.

I agree, good football played in that conference. Like you said quite a few players in the NFL from those schools considering the size. TE for the Bengals is from S Arkansas. Can’t think of his name off the top of my head.

My son played for Arkansas Tech the last 4 years and just graduated. I got to watch that conference very closely the last 4 years. He has 1 year of eligibility and plays O line. Come get him Lane, lol. He would kill for a GA job at LSU under Kiffin though. He’s 6’1, 6’2 so he doesn’t have the height they look for at D1 level. But he would come as a GA if he could find a way to get his foot in the door.
Ouachita Baptist is a good program. Same conference as the team (Harding) that played Ferris St in the D2 National Championship game. That conference has some good players in it and the quality of football is good.

imagine choosing to go play in Joe Sloan’s offense

Do you really think they would let Sloan install “his” offense when they hired the OC from Oregon to be the HC.
quote:

Gonna have the best RB room in the country next season

Comments from you with the " :pimp:" is what I like to see!!!!

this can be called a lot of things, but I'll refer to it as being a bitch! He bailed on us. Keep this loser away from our program.

I would love to see you say this to him in person but you would turn into "being a b!tch" face to face. There could be more to the story that most don't know about. :geauxtigers:

He does not have the athletic ability for a Kiffin QB
quote:

What is the deal with you idiots slurping off Moore? You can tell it’s a very poorly coached teams. Penalties in critical moments. Terrible situational play calling. In the tough moments he tends to make the wrong decisions

He's a first time head coach 14 games in. He was given the keys to a team that had low expectations with an aging defense. He has experienced some on the job training for sure. It isn't easy to have to manage everything needed for the first time. He must be doing something right with the locker room culture, team culture, how hard they all play. They have put together some good games. I would rather him stub his toe this year than when the Saints are 11-3 competing for the 1 seed. Who Dat!
Rattler just doesn't posses that "It" factor. He just never could make the big play when needed or make something happen when the team and offense needed something to happen.
quote:

When they drafted Shough I thought it was a mistake due to his age. Kudos to the coaches.

Completely understandable. When Griffin or the other anouncer mentioned Rodgers, Romo, Mahomes, and a couple of other QBs not playing until Shough's age or close to it, I never thought about that. Shough and the team have been a pleasant surprise since he has taken over.
quote:

Yall aren’t gonna believe who we have for DC

Can’t wait to hear!
quote:

Can’t tell if you’re serious. Bengals defense has been absolute trash

He is not even with the Bengals anymore. His defense this year is not that bad.
quote:

I am seriously stunned he won so many games at ND.

A weak schedule every year
quote:

The class is falling apart quickly

What??? 2 decommits that are being reported as “asked to look elsewhere”

But we gained a 4 star TE, and been projected to get another 4 star WR. Class falling apart quickly seems a little dramatic.
With all the offers going out to other WRs, someone had to be let go. Sucks for the kids that stay committed and loyal but I know it’s a business
quote:

“Just focus on your bowl game Lane and let the assistants come back to coach the playoffs.”

So they will let the assistants come back and coach after leaving but won’t let Kiffin coach in the playoffs?

Heard Bryson Cooley and Kenny Darby are decomitting soon.

Looks like Darby will stick with LSU

You’ve heard his name mentioned for LSU if Tulane hires Baker? Or this is someone you would like to pursue?
