I heard about this tragic accident an hour ago. Absolutely horrible news. I didn’t know him well, but much sympathy to his family.

Any camera that takes decent pictures at that distance isn’t anywhere close to your price point.
I’d look at some sort or camera scope combination to get away cheaper.
Quality pictures and distance cost crazy money in the photography world.

Nice deer. Yea, the no blood thing is almost a deal breaker. Hopefully the 110 hornady helps as previous poster mentioned.

My 8 year old has killed 5 so far with my 300 blk out. AR platform for the short stock worked well. I will say 4 of the 5 deer were all shot under 100 yds and had zero blood trail. Was shooting Barnes 120gr. and never had a pass through shot. Switched to hornady 110gr. Recently And have yet to pull triggers

Lil cousin came from a damn good family. Salt of the earth parents. Take a moment for them if you believe in prayer.
re: Demario Davis one of the Saints all time best.

Best “all around” LB the saints have ever had. Who individually was better? The dome patrol as a whole was great and the best group of backers, but none of Swilling, Mills, Johnson or Jackson was better as 1.

I took a Brazilian Armadillo hunting years ago because said they were highly sought after in Brazil for BBQ delicacy. He also said they were illegal to kill because they were so sought after which I thought was funny considering how we feel about them in the US. He would be stoked about the bumper crop this year.
re: Matt House wasting a Heisman effort is unforgivable.

Honestly, defense sucking made him/offense have to play harder which helped pad stats. It helped
re: If LSU gets to nine wins, Daniels will have a pretty compelling case for Heisman.

shitty defense is probably a big reason why he is putting up such huge stats.
Drew was the goat, but don’t think he wasn’t a product of shitty defenses too. He simply had to produce ALOT.

Saban never expressed a desire to return to LSU after his Dolhins gig.
That’s an ignorant statement. He certainly did express an interest in coming back to LSU. Maybe only to an inner circle of LSU brass, but it’s a fact he wanted to come back. Skip was the main reason it didn’t happen.
re: Any update on Luke Holman?
Posted by Manchac Man on 7/20/23 at 6:12 pm
He ate breakfast with Jay yesterday morning off Perkins. They sat at a table next to us. Luke is full grown, every bit of 6’4 plus. Seemed like dad was very engaged and enjoyed.
Jay was there 30 minutes prior to meeting and making notes the whole time. That guy is locked in.

I saw Luke, his dad and Jay eating breakfast this morning off of Perkins. Fingers crossed he wants to be a Tiger.

There is a time and place, but it’s a huge tournament difference maker. Deep water bass fishing is put on another level.

Pointed wing tip was the give away to me. Also, the Chuck is way more common in the given area.

Chuck -will’s-widow more likely.

Goldendoodle will track for your occasional deer. I sold one to a guy in Lafayette that’s done a phenomenal job in making him a blood, duck, and house dog.
