Probably a dumb question, but I've wondered....if Biden did have to leave the race, what happens to all the votes he already received by mail/early votes? Would those people get to vote again for a new candidate?

Here's my SEC conspiracy theory.
Saban is told that White will be reinstated and prepares his team for the next two weeks with that in mind. Meanwhile, White loses snaps at practice so that LSU can be ready for one half without him. On Friday before the game, SEC office comes out with a statement that they looked at it again due to national pressure and have decided to lift the first half suspension.
