A lot of their fans are too young to remember years of mediocrity, I don't think they're there yet but a couple of knee jerk coaching hires will get them there.

To Florida's defense they just lost a 7'1" dude to a nasty injury. I'm not familiar enough with him to know what he brought to the team other than height.
It must be bad since they didn't show the replay. Hope he's OK.

No coach can meet the expectations that the Updykes have, consistent championships and 0 or 1 loss seasons every year. It's not happening. NIL has created parity across the country with non-SEC teams being able to compete., Texas and Oklahoma will present new challenges, and once the playoff field expands no matter how good you are the chances of making it through unscathed are slim.
It's why Saban left, he couldn't stand the thought of being a 9-3 coach after his 17 years of unprecedented success. College football is completely different than it was 20 years ago.
