Those road games sure were tough that year with no fans in the stands

The night oranges rained against Fla St was one of my most favorite memories back in the day. And that wasn’t just a 1 time occurrence in the game.
Does John Kennedy have a shot as Senate majority leader?

That would give LA both leaders. The soundbites would drive the other side crazy for the next 4 years.

Calvary closed their high school in the late 80s and reopened the high school probably somewhere around 2004 give or take a little. Kept the younger grades open the whole time.

Are you old enough to remember 1963? That’s an embarrassing long time since your last SEC championship

re: Why does it bother LSU so bad when Ole Miss wins a little bit?

Maybe it’s because we’re not used to it
re: When is the last time two LSU QB's faced each other in the NFL?

Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray could happen

Helped that Vandy was your permanent East opponent all those years
Thank goodness the Democrats are bad shots

More than 1/2 the names on the west side of Tiger Stadium arches as well as the Tiger Cage name are Shreveport area people. NW LA is die hard Tiger Country ! Lived here my whole life and I don’t know 1 Longhorn fan. Do know a few Aggies that moved here.

Odell Beckham Sr on a crack back block. I think it was on a Todd Kinchen reception.
re: When’s the last time LSU won a series in Fayetteville?

My memory is clouded by our recent National Championship and something about a foul ball y’all watched drop in Omaha.
re: How many of you use plant with seeds from vegetables from last crop?
Posted by Caddo on 1/24/24 at 9:45 am
If you grow hybrids, you cannot save the seed. The fruit will not be the same as it was with the hybrid seed. If you are not using hybrids, then you can save seed but they are usually not very expensive. With saved seed, you do not know % germination either.

Sounds like you’re just anti Calvary. You really think a kid failing in public school and making all A’s at Calvary is common? That’s an exaggeration for sure. Maybe the teachers and environment are better at Calvary. All public school people like to rag on the education at privates. I can name plenty of my kids friends that came from schools like Byrd etc that couldn’t hack it in college. Yet the enrollment at Calvary continues to climb. Waiting lists in many grades. Is Calvary an academic juggernaut? No, but it’s not much different than the publics for sure.
