Nah, it’s incredible how many impulse buys are made. No inventory to “put you in this car today” and sales will drop.
re: Dealing with severe health anxiety
Posted by BengalBlood81 on 2/10/26 at 5:40 am to The Silverback
Yup. Been dealing with mine for about 15 years and have it somewhat under control compared to what it used to be. The biggest game changer for me was taking a daily medication. Mine is vilazodone. Viibryd is the brand name and I take a 10mg once a day. Doc said it would take 3 weeks to begin working, and boy lemme tell you. Exactly day 21 I had no symptoms. A feeling I hadn’t felt in years. The freedom was incredible. If you look it up, it’s also used for depression (I don’t have any of that going on) but my doc said they mostly use it for anxiety. If I get wrapped around the axel about something worm related for too long I can still get a symptom here or there but nothing like before where I had trips to the ER. Once the symptoms go away, you’re more likely to resume working out because you won’t feel the doom. And then you can break the cycle you’re in. Good luck. Oh and Viibryd is like one of many meds out there, so don’t be stuck on it. It’s just the one I’m on.

I’d think out the usage of closets a bit more. Things like vacuum cleaners, heavy coats and things you never wear, luggage etc. all that stuff adds up here and there if you don’t have adequate storage around the house. I have a bonus room above my garage and the entry to the attic is a full size 6ft door which is great to access the attic from. Wouldn’t build a house without this ever again. You’d be surprised how often you need decorations and any HVAC, tankless water heater, gas line, water filter system work done.

Sweet. This is what I’m wondering. There’s not many places that can compete with Venice, Delacroix etc. I’m just looking to take my kids fishing and have a good time. My dad has a second home there and I’m considering getting a camp there if it’s possible to catch from docks. I’d prefer not to get a boat yet. Really appreciate the advice

If so where is best to look for a camp to rent or purchase?

Yeah I don’t need it that bad.
Northshore patio and Pool builds pricing?
Posted by BengalBlood81 on 11/27/25 at 5:31 pm
Has pricing gotten any better for backyard projects for pool and cabana projects? I never see lumber trucks on the road anymore and I don’t see the pool builders trucks anywhere either. Granted a lot of my neighbors have had pools for some time so I don’t expect them to be in my neighborhood but even so, I don’t see a lot of them around the northshore. Has pricing come down at all? Or still going up?

Attorneys make a living off of crazy people and business owners not being tidy. But do as you want

Zoning and incentives to change the concentration of traffic flow.

Whoa. Pump the brakes. I agree with firing him, but protect yourself. Documentation of violations of your policy and clear communication of the exact reason you are firing him. Do not go down a long explanation road of possibilities and assumptions you’ve dreamt up. Policy is X, you did Y. I’m sorry but we’re going to have to part ways.
re: Why is it socially acceptable to be “terrible with names”?
Posted by BengalBlood81 on 11/8/25 at 9:20 am to philly444
Most times I find my brain processing all the non-verbals and I miss their name. I wish introducing the name would be in the middle or the end of the conversation. Like an email signature. That way I’m done processing all the sensory stuff and can pay attention to names

The biasedness of 60 minutes is awful - one question after another with a negative slant for him to defend. Never once was that pushed on sleepy joe

He ain’t coming back to LSU. I think the biggest difference is that Baton Rouge has gotten substantially worse since he left. Crime, congestion, and overall college kids entitlement attitude is far worse today than it’s ever been.

I have my yard sprayed as well from a company. Whatever they spray is junk. I have at least 4 different types of weeds in my yard after multiple applications from them for the last two years. As for the VBW. I’ve started pulling it by hand and bagging my cuts instead of mulching. It’s a big difference. Far less spreading opportunity and the VBW is easier to see when the yard is cut low and easier to pull up. Less chemicals will also keep it at bay if the clumps are small and new.

Which ones? And what type of doctor did you find helpful?
