I'm going to go to the range with a wedge, 8 iron, and Driver.

I really recommend a camera based LM if setting up indoors. BLP or SkyTrak+ are good options.

re: How many hole in 1's do you have?

I have one and got it last year. 142 yards front pin over a bunker with a 9 iron. Bc of the bunker lip and front pin, didn’t even get to see it drop. I knew it had a chance so the walk up to the green was a little anxious. Couldn’t even see the hole until you got all the way up on the to green.

I think the shotgun start is a good idea. You get to see more guys finish a round. I think it'd be good for the tour to do that at least on Thursday and Friday.

I have a hard time following the round in the shotgun start format, personally. I think it makes for a bad viewing experience. I hope this is the one thing the PGA never adopts.
I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday so not for the demo day. What are the hot items people want to see this year? If time allows I can try to check some of it out.

I might start tuning in here and there since it will be on Fox.

Doesn't mean its going to be on Fox necessarily. Could be FS1, FS2, or whatever other networks they run. It would be big for them if they get on Fox though.

If you don't want to piece it together yourself DIY style, this one is $5k. It doesn't include a computer/ipad and the sim software, so that could add another $1k+ if you don't already have a computer/ipad that can run the software.

It probably helps, but mine seems pretty accurate without them. I take it to the range with me and the numbers seem pretty spot on.

It may be assuming some kind of average spin rate based on the club used or something. If you are close to the figure they are using, I could see it being close. It could be problematic for someone that has too much/not enough spin, especially with the longer clubs.

You need those to get spin numbers, but everything else works with a range ball or regular ball.

You need the spin numbers to get accurate distance, though, right?

AA is who I am talking about

I played ball with him in high school. Saw him post that pic of him and Rickie yesterday that SOB ha ha. I followed Rickie’s full round today out there. He played well, and the new putter seems to be working.
Makes me happy now that my group skipped out on Peninsula this year and just did 2 rounds at Kiva.
Not a big variety for me

Mississippi
Louisiana
Alabama
Virginia

Banff, Canada

Yet, you are penalized for a perfect tee shot when playing from a fairway divot.

OB - bad shot. Know where to miss.

You still get penalized playing OB as a lateral hazard, plus it helps speed up pace of play which benefits everyone else on the course. I play over 100 rounds a year and might land in 1 divot a year.
