re: How smart do you have to be to be a brain surgeon?

Without a single doubt, you'd have to be just a little smarter than a community organizer.
One would definitely have to be smarter than our current president. Our current president could never meet the rigors of a med school and a neurosurgical residency. He wouldn't even allow the American public to see and scrutinize his grades!
Ben Carson is smarter than Barack Hussein Obama any day of the week. BTW, Ben Carson successfully separated Siamese twins. What community has Barack Obama ever successfully organized?
Rex, do you ever feel like you are right and the world is all wrong?

did you see what J Lee did in 2008 and in his start against La Tech in 2009?
Forget 2008 - when JL was a true freshman thrown in to the fire. Since then, JL has the LSU record for 2nd most completions without an interception; he is 5-0 as the leader and starter this year; he has shown nothing but class. I'd say he has redeemed himself.
On the other hand, JJ's trend seems to be moving in the opposite direction:
Did you see JJ's final QB efficiency rating after being a consistent and coddled starter for many games????? Not to mention his other "record".
Which is a bigger embarassment to the University?
A. LSU's starting QB getting arrested and making national news...?
B. Booing by fans
C. Player's spelling in tweets

Depends....How much $$ you talkin' :lol:
Did he happen to mention JACKSONVILLE STATE?
And when asked if the quarterbacks have been coached well in their time, Miles responded:
“I don’t know. You know, that’s a tough question. The only thing I can tell you is that they’ve been coached and coached and coached, and drilled. The passing attack has not changed so significantly that it’s not comfortable for all. I, uh, yeah, I think they’ve been coached.”
So yeah, that’s an awesome assessment of his team’s progress. I’m sure the players and fans are glad Les Miles is such a positive guy or that might have looked bad.

LSU: Where Offensive Prospects Watch Their Careers Die
quote:
OK, OK, so making fun of LSU’s crappy offense is the new making fun of LSU’s clock management, which is the new making fun of Florida’s all-penitentiary team, but the amount of great prospects LSU gets every year, and the lack of offensive firepower the Tigers produce is truly staggering. And this is true for every position.
Starting QB = Best QB

In all my years of watching football, I always thought that the BEST player was supposed to start at every given position...
And also, when the game is on the line, you put the ball in the hands of your BEST players...
My confusion is how JJ is best QB & starter, BUT WHEN THE LAST 2 GAMES WERE ON THE LINE Less Smiles seems to always go to JL.
Since Less has more confidence in JL with the game on the line, he clearly needs to give JL the respect of giving him the start, OR
If JJ is Less's man and truly the best QB, then Less needs to put JJ in when the game is on the line.
:confused:

Because nothing says "dominant program" like Mississippi State.
No, nothing says dominant like:
UF 41 tOSU 14
LSU 38 tOSU 24
SEC:
UNDEFEATED in BCS Championship Games;
Has won 5 out of 11 BCS NCs;
Won the last 3 in a row (soon to be 4)!
Now, THAT is dominance!
Maybe he doesn't understand what part he didn't understand. :lol:
