re: Best true outdoor TV, weather proof?

Looking at the reviews for these Terrace TV's, it seems like quite a few people have had issues with them. I would be pissed if a $5,000 outdoor TV doesn't make it past 5yrs, not so much when the $300 TV goes out.
Those geologists saved a bunch of lives. Good on them and thankful that they listened.
We grew up eating fried LMB, never realized some people didn't eat them. Particularly enjoyed their fried roe! Good stuff

Looks like the baseball coach took a loop hoe to it.
When the local news guy says "Happy Friyay" it's like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I have metal edging installed and thought that might keep it from invading the flower bed

I have the metal edging as well in my front pine straw beds. When I see it pop up, I pull back the pine straw and take a hand rake to carefully loosen the soil without breaking the root. I try to get it at it's deepest point. I do this multiple times a year to keep on top of it.

The greens were a little slower than I remember, especially downhill putts. Some of the tee boxes were a little rough.

Shrimp boil left overs-sauteed the shrimp and onion and flatten/brown the potatoes, scramble some eggs, sprinkle with cheese and make a burrito.

A lot of courses in europe don't even let you play unless you have an established handicap

Here’s an idea,,,everyone plays the forward tees unless you have an established handicap good enough to allow you to back up if you wish.

I played The Oaks in Pass Christian last Friday afternoon. They ran out of carts for the afternoon so you had to wait as people finished to get a cart. But once we started, we didn't have much of a wait on many holes. We were only playing 9 so I wasn't too worried about waiting. I think I'll be sticking to more 9 hole rounds.
Seems like mine has been in the 2.59-2.79 range for over a yr.
I really like most of them but I’ve seen some varieties that didn’t look great. Wish I knew the specific name of those nice ones.

I used to cut an elderly neighbors yard and she had a few down her driveway. The driveway was stained from the mess they drop.

I have a pool so wouldn’t ever put one in the backyard. But I wouldn’t mind planting a few out front somewhere away from the house or any concrete.
Don't most garages have this threshold to keep water out of the garage? Typically the garage door will close on the low side(driveway side). They do make a threshold ramp that you could place there but you will probably have to adjust your garage door stopping point.
The streetview pics from the alley behind the house look bad, especially the one from 2019. But the chickens must've been a new addition.
I just tried to find it on Google Maps. The houses close to that intersection all look like they've been kept well.

re: Deck drain extension

I think most of the debris that would make it into the basin would get caught at the bottom of the basin since the discharge pipe sits a few inches from the bottom. But that brings up another thought. If you do put a basin under the channel drain, make sure it's deep enough that you have enough clearance between the basin grate and channel drain so you can remove the grate when you need to clean the basin.
Need a full body pic before a verdict can be reached but I bet she cleans up nice.

You could dig out the area under the end of that channel drain and place a basin underneath to catch it. Then knock out the hole in the basin on the opposite side of the channel drain and run you some 4-6" pvc underground away from the house to a pop-up if you have enough fall.
