"Jayden Daniels is entering his contract year in 2026 with his mother, Regina Jackson, as his sole NFL agent." :dope:
Pettycopter #5 overhead. :blackheli:
Doesn't LSU have a release or waiver for something like a worldwide, cost free non exclusive license to use LSU JD images created or captured while playing for LSU, similar to what every parent signs when your kid plays any high school ball, or even steps on a campus as an enrollee for that matter?
I'd think the school created/has/retained the legal right to use those LSU images, otherwise, they'd be asking everyone featured with their action shots and film clips for license to include them in a bumper film, pregame or halftime pump up reel. Guess they'll take him off the halftime NFLSU update, or maybe put an "athlete formerly known as..." with an anonymous outline in its place.
One player who I guess won't be coming back around the program, or get a statue. Shame. Sours his brand, imo. As comparisons go, 20 and 9 do have undefeated season nattys, which he does not, and only 20 is retired as a number, no others. 5 and 9 not issued as per unwritten/inside rule. I think without this move, in time, his #5 would have made it on to the upper deck ring with 20, 21, 37 and most recently 4. but not before 9 made it up there. Now I think Pettycopter #5 and his expert agent have scuttled that. I doubt that sour milk will get better with time. I think a true Tiger would want the team to be its best and wouldn't mind a defensive recruit/player using his number given the circumstances of transition and recruiting, especially as he goes into a contract year with the Commanders (@$9.4mm per year). Seems like the timing on this press story isn't well aligned with entering his contract year. LSU brand is about to take off and he's :wah: about his jersey. Anyone scramble to JB #9 to ask him what he thinks? I hope he tells them to issue #9 and go Tigers.

re: Ole Miss Files Breach-of-Contract Lawsuits Against Devin Harper & Princewill Umanmielen

Waiting for the claude run on the actual petition, seems like liquidated damages penalty for rolling out, not a return of monies paid or advanced. Dunno about MS laws on sufficiency or reasonableness of liquidated damages. Some states frown on them. we dont have a salary cap or a CBA to guide us. As most people say, a contract is a contract. If MS has a bad take on LDs, some theory of equitable adjustment or other defect in the quantum of liquidated damages being either unreasonable oe or excessive coukd be effective. Maybe they will file an injunction just before the game to enjoin them from playing, citing irreparable harm of playing againat the team they left, not compensible in dollars, etc. Could be that LSU considered it in advanceand are either letting them twist a bit to show their petty asses or maybe kids were comped with the money in mind and they are going to take a shot in court, or pay them in frozen corn dogs.

Haha, torsogate, no wheels. Big 10 pts a half. And 3 vwry expensive WRs who got no 20+ yard targets, but he got his NIL. Tanked the season. Hope he goes to tomorrow. Bullshitted everyonebalong the way, we the spoiled fans. Even Bauer cant block Sharpe got drafted before him. Lolz.

I never want to hear miami is dbu, 4 dropped picks and 31 just getting out of QBs way on last drive. Looks like bets or just awful play.
re: Kudos to LSU Medical Staff: Nuss will represent Tigers in Senior Bowl!

Torsogate - he and Kelly new he couldn't make a damn throw and we ran the heisman hype campaign anyway and toasted the season, got told we were spoiled and couldn't score over 20ish on D1 opponents. For that willful concealment, his draft stock, whatever boiler room pump and dump inflated value it was, deserves to tank.
Back foot, side arm, no mobility, and not so well concealed torso injury. Toasted a season and took the NIL money to the bank, all with painted crosses on his face. with the benefit of time and distance it just looks worse. But he got paid...ok....

Ole Midd needs to lose so Lane can start wearing an LSU visor pilfer whatever players are coming over. Start looking forward to Clemson opener in TS.
Late for the comment, but Kirby at 3rd and goal from the 4 ran crap play that didn't allow for failure to still drain clock, should have run it from the spread and if they get to two, they still kick and don't leave time for the heroics. Not throw it to half arse effort from TE or receiver that ran at half speed and ran out of back of endzone on what was then the most important play of the season.
Also, abandoning running game early in second half was not smart.

I mean a number of patrons and employees at Ruth's Chris steak house maybe could at least attest to an altercation with parties that would be suggestive of controversy. Being full of shite on Torsogate and apparent concealment of #18 injury from some time in spring if you listen to MS talk radio. and smoke screening and gaslighting everyone about it (spoiled!) should actually be the nuts on the shite sundae. I mean, the QB gets paid over $6 million. The school expends a lot in brand capital and promo spend to have #18 be the Heisman early frontrunner. We spend a bunch of money on receivers to take the top off of defenses instead of his hallmark OL callingcard and oops, the quarterback can't throw past 20yds because of an allegedly concealed torso injury. But you're spoiled for expecting offensive production. What a necksnapper..

and so in the course of a long spooky weekend, we have a new president, a new chancellor and now Verge is the new AD promoted from within. Scott can go spend more time chumming it up with Carville and giving his fellow Catholic High buddy secret updates on what he's not involved in anymore.
Now they can continue with their search in earnest. The firings are all old news. This time next week it will be a post mortem on the Alabama game. Kiffin has a bye week so no developments there.

he's not wrong about the metrics and all, but he could have made the same admonition to the Bd. in session without shitting on the publicity and desirability of the job. Like spraying toxic repellant all over it.
Shut up already and communicate that only to people who actually need to hear it, like the bd., the AD, the candidates and their agent as and when needed, not coonass mouth blaster style. "Me hire coach! Scott Big Head no hire coach!"

re: If Nuss is injured why would he play vs SLU?
Posted by NorthEndZone92 on 9/29/25 at 4:40 pm to lsupride87
$unk NIL money, $unk Heisman Campaign, and still clinging to NFL draft stock pump, and originated from camp injury months ago with mum's the word on it for months, so admitting he can't throw now means all that other stuff is a big miss and some real deception, and they can't do that, so CBK looks at you and said you're spoiled for believing your lying eyes that anything is wrong and Bud Light guy tries to blame the OL and then sort of say its just a secondary issue as a shill.
Another week of this and the WR room will solve it with a players only meeting because the drop off in performance (avg 9 pts per half against D1 opponents and SEC losses) versus what they were promised (4000yd passing year) to come here is a complete reversal.
