What is going on with all of this Harris talk?

Les mind fricking people with mastered art of subtle comments just days before big game.
Could be trolling Saban and knows he'll have to take time away from other aspects to game plan for a backup QB who won't see the field
If anyone it'll be Fournette no doubt. There's a reason his touches have doubled in recent weeks and Miles has all but knighted him as our workhorse. Consider him a bust or whatever makes you feel better. After the game, win or lose, just ask your LBs and DBs if he's for real
Pointless scenarios but oh well...
Could you imagine Florida hiring Miles to replace Spurrier when he left? How would gator fans handle a stubborn ground and pound coach after the run & gun era of Spurrier? I don't think that would have gone over too well at all. LSU fans had an easy adjustment with similarities between Saban and Miles

Miles is trolling Saban. Getting him to prepare for Harris.

Bingo! CLM will make you think he's thinking about something and laughing at you for actually thinking he was thinking of changing anything he does
LSU would suffer from this once they get a tough stretch of conference games. They make no attempt to work on weaknesses and happy to win without embarrassing an unworthy opponent. Scheduling tough OOC is the one thing that somewhat readies them for conference play

But the offense wears down too. That's the genius.

Maybe...with Glen Dorsey and Kevin Minter on the field

Why would you go to LSU to play WR?

Defies logic but Miles gets talent at the position

Haden is damn good but will probably never be considered better than PP

Doesn't UF more WRs & DBs currently in the NFL than LSU? I think so....

10 DB's a piece for LSU & Florida. I wasn't calling out WR so didn't bother checking them

If you claim to be of Acadien/Cajun decent and are offended by any use of the term "coonass" you probably don't deserve to even have the term applied to you. So many people now a days have no actual connection to the exiled Acadiens or others who came here shortly after...simply living in South Louisiana seems to make anyone from anywhere a Cajun or at least claim to be sometimes. True Cajun born and raised by true cajuns in true Cajun ways right here. I love what Miles said or agreed to with a caller...he's embraced the culture and people here and that comment shows that. This isn't directed at any posters here, just feel strongly about the topic with how watered down true Cajun culture is becoming

Nice try...everyone already knows who owns that title.
LSU = DB/DT U

I wasn't trying to make a case for LSU over Tennessee. There's no case to made for my team with the history of that position at Tennessee. With LSU, I say since 1999 as a reference to having the likes of Devery Henderson, Josh Reed, and Michael Clayton even before Saban turned things around. LSU has managed to recruit top receivers who become producers on NFL rosters. Miles still manages to recruit top receivers year in and out. I don't know how with only 3.5 years of good QB play since 2006. LSU could be considered in the WR talent level they've had but the production isn't there due to long term QB issues. Therefore LSU has to be eexcluded when talking about WR production while in college

Think I'll put the coffee down now

Since 1971 Tennessee has had 34 receivers drafted into the NFL, more than any other school in that span.

Tennessee: the original WRU.

LSU as WRu could have been a serious discussion using the last 15 years or so (1999-2014) unfortunately claiming WRu can't be taken seriously when you're also QBu-suck. One of those kinda needs the other to be successful
I've been going on about Cooper but you're right about our DB's and they will do their job. Defensive success lives and dies with DL & LB
Coop is quick and deceptively fast which probably causes a lot of bad angles and oh shite where'd he go arm tackle attempts. Safeties will have to be where they're supposed to be when corners are expecting help over the top.

Would agree but besides last year our NFL caliber receivers are just outside offensive lineman while at LSU

Lou Tepper says conservative defense is the way to go

Maybe so if you like the idea of your D staying on the field and eventually wearing down because you're terrified of giving up a big play.
There are some athletic monsters on this defense. Letting them pin their ears back and get after it has brought out their instincts to react and make plays rather than sit back with time to think and second guess.

They'll all be rattled when they realize just how cocky this D is and that they back it up too

I agree and believe LSU wins

LSU has a better OL than Bama, that can't even be disputed

Only matters if LSU OL is better than Bama's DL

QB....very curious to see how Simms performs in that environment

*With no LSU turnovers* to help him out he will stumble early and eventually folds.
