If he pitches against LSU in Alex Box, he'll be pitching for LSU in 2027. Lol

Almost everybody on the roster has question marks whether it be needing to get 100% healthy, needing to fulfill potential, or needing to prove they can translate to this level.
Seaton, Princewill, and Pickett are probably the only 3 who appear to be sure things honestly.
Leavitt, Durham, Eugene Wilson, Joyce Brown, Moore, and Weeks all need to get 100% healthy.
Longstreet, Berry,, Green, Solomon Thomas, Harper, McKinley, Ross, Spears need to fulfill potential.
Everybody coming from non-SEC schools needs to prove they can translate.
The exciting part is that the numbers dictate that enough of this should happen to be great. But there's still a ton of question marks.

DE: Umanmielen, Ross
DT: McKinley, Green
LB: Weeks, Dottery
CB: Pickett, Woodland
S: Cooley, Benefield
Star: Spears
Reliford right there with Ross.
Keys right there with Dottery or as 3rd LB in place of Spears.
Basically 13 starters.
Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson the 2 main x-faxtors. Both could be anywhere from impact players to not in the rotation depending on their development and readiness to play in year 1.

All the money we have left needs to go to the o-line.

Not more than 50% of the time. But a significant amount. Maybe 20-30%?? Which is a lot. Most normal years would be 1-5%.

Jalen Reed is a solid player. Randy Livingston was a phenom that never came to fruition because of injuries. They aren't the same.

Won the first two, tied the third.
Well obviously I don't want to completely disregard football for the sake of baseball but the nightmare would be to hire someone who does anything to upset Jay.
I'm also fine sacrificing men's basketball for the benefit of the other sports. LSU is fine with just football, baseball, women's sports, and olympic sports.

What's the chances Jay Artigues is hired as AD? That would be phenomenal for the baseball program...
I think the big 3 are Frank, Corey, and Austin. The roster will be always be loaded with those 3
Baker, Peoples, and Kyle should be the new coach's choice but should be legitimate candidates.
Hankton too except he's also co-OC. No way he should keep that designation and it would be weird to remove it. Doubt he would want to go backward.
OC, OL, QB, and TE should be new. The current guys can interview if they want.
I want coaches. Recruiters as position coaches are a thing of the past. Frank and Austin can handle the roster. Corey is both.

You need to review your reading comprehension. They aren't being called permanent. They are being called annual.
I feel very confident that it will be Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and either Oklahoma or Arkansas-- and i really feel like it will be Oklahoma.
It pretty much comes down to who plays who in the final week of the season. LSU-Oklahoma and Arkansas-Missouri makes way more sense than LSU-Arkansaa and Oklahoma-Missouri.
The only real alternative would be if LSU-Florida start playing the final week and Florida-Florida State play earlier. Oklahoma could get back to playing Oklahoma State the final week. This would actually be the most awesome option.

What a weird question and a weird time to ask it but I'll humor you. I'll go with 12-- Arrambide, Serna, Pearson, Yorke, Simpson, Carraway, Milam, Dardar, Reaves, Brown, Curiel, and Harden.
I would say Ruckert and Clauss are almost definitely a no. I don't know if Braun and/or Patrick will have enough at bats. Something tells me that Yamin is still not going to see many at bats. And then Stanfield just doesn't have much power. He may run into one, he may not. I'd definitely put the over/under at 12.5.
It was 14 in 2025 (with Braswell's 2 and Stanfield's 1), 12 in 2024, 12 in 2023, and 12 in 2022. Plus the number of hitters is down a few with the decreased roster size. Yeah, I'll definitely go with 12.

He has to attempt to keep players from entering the transfer portal before the snap because they don't like the play call.
I listened to Jay's entire press conference today. The only thing I heard that hasn't been mentioned and that I didn't know was that they are also hiring his former Arizona shortstop for player development as well. He just got released from the minors. Jay called him and Milam 1A and 1B for his best shortstops he's coached. Should be a great addition for Milam and the infielders.

I would like to see some nickel with Stamps and Pickett on the outside with Delane at nickel.
Unfortunately nobody can spend what Texas and Texas A&M spend in any sport so you almost have to exclude those two. We should be 3rd though-- or atleast tied for 3rd.

People don't want to hear it but penciling in Arrambide is the same as penciling in Neal and Kling in 24 and we saw how that went. Hopefully it doesn't go the same but there's definitely no competition with any kind of proven track record at catcher.

Beck kinda seemed to me like he wants to be on the team regardless. Benge and Fontenot probably want to pitch but I think they will pitch here.
I don't think LSU even spent as much as they would have if Frey or Jones or Moss would have elected to play for LSU next season. They had a ton allotted for Frey if he returned. I don't think that money was spent in total. Maybe Carraway and Yorke got a chunk. I tend to think Cooper Moore's money was separate and already alloted. Obviously Simpson and Dardar's was. Point being, I don't think it's as simple as we have X amount and we spend it all no matter what on the best of whatever's available. I think each player is evaluated individually and offered what they're deemed to be worth.
