This is a waste of a post. He has no chance and shouldn't.

A little discipline and some decorum would be a start. Dress better act better.

I think the much greater risk is to the SEC and NCAA for making an arbitrary and prejudicial decision affecting a group of athletics who should have had a right to make a living. I lived a lawsuit by a very powerful Fortune 500 company 35 years ago. We won and these players will win. LSU is on the right side of this issue and the SEC and NCAA have to be VERY careful how they pursue this case. My prediction is they will drop any further action against these young people.
This is a much bigger issue than should LSU play these guys. This is about a group of fairly powerless athletes up against a powerful monopoly that is trying to force their unconstitutional might against individuals and it's a serious violation of their civil rights. The NCAA will relent and the SEC will have no choice but to comply.

Please do not use the number 5. 60 months ago is acceptable. Jayden Daniels' mother said no and will use every recourse available to stop the unacceptable use of Jayden's number.

re: So, Rousse voted for banning our recruits? So much for being pro-LSU and athletics

I think Saban is loving this. I wouldn't be surprised to find he advised Kiffin to sign these guys., Rousse did the smart thing. No reason to vote no when you can't win.
If I had to bet a federal judge is going to rule in favor of the players rights and the SEC and Big 10 will lose. LSU really has nothing to lose here. People have a right to work. ThankGod. I don't want this to be some podunk district judge to rule. We need a federal judge's ruling.
Now the refs may call holding against us on every play when we play Bama or Texas but they'd do that anyway. LSU will have to beat the SEC teams and the SEC Office this year to make the playoffs. What's new? See Bama for the last 50 years.

Presidents and administrations have kicked this can down the road for 47+ years. Trump has been the only one with the courage and foresight to do something about it. Wars aren't easy but sometimes necessary. You can't judge Trump by Vietnam, Afghanistan or Iraq. Every war is different. We have to prevail in this war as if Iran were able to get a nuclear weapon this world would be a very different and more dangerous place.
The world cannot be held hostage by a rouge nation that exports terror and extorts control based on the geography of an international waterway. Thank God for Trump at this time.
I think our only true enemy is ourselves and the resolve we must use to finish this campaign. While the media and left leaning communists seek to divide this country patriots must stand behind Trump and support this noble cause against a murderous, immoral regime.
While our attention seems to be divided by men in women's sports, deportation of illegals and partisan bickering over 80/20 issues we must keep our eyes on this historic effort to rid the world of one of the greatest threats to world peace. Stay focused and stand behind our efforts. Stand behind Trump.

I think this is all hype to draw attention to the WNBA as a last gasp because the product sucks. Nobody was talking about the WNBA until Kaitlyn Clark came around. This is just hype.

Hard to believe the guy was on a pedestal a few years ago and now this picture of he and his wife. These are low class, immoral people with no shame or regret. How do people with this character and lack of values ascend to the status they once enjoyed.
We as a society need to pay closer attention to those in power and I think we will.

At least they didn’t threaten to arrest Netanyahu. What a clown show some of these cities have become. Just protect and serve. Pick up the garbage, fix the potholes and keep the water flowing and sewer working. And keep the storm water pumps running so a 3 inch rain doesn’t flood the city.

I don’t get the negativity about this project. It’s like,” I don’t understand it so I’m against it.” These plants aren’t paper mills or chemical plants that produce a lot of pollution. I’m not sure what they discharge other than evaporation. Maybe somebody can enlighten me.
They will consume a lot of water. Wells a re being drilled to provide the water. I have not heard how much water the plant will consume but if it’s as suggested a really big plant maybe 5 million gallons a day. Well by comparison a paper mill that would employ 1000 people would consume 20-30 million gallons a day. Paper mills and chemical plants have significant air and waste water discharges that I don’t see with a data generating facility. It’s really hard to accept all the negativity surrounding these plants.

Donated. I prefer watching on Cajunomics over ESPN any day.. I'm challenged with getting the damn ESPN app to work and just go to You Tube and watch your broadcast. It goes out from time to time but you must know how to get around the "system".

Louisiana needs New Orleans and New Orleans needs Louisiana. Stop the squabbling. New Orleans listen to Jim Croce. You don't pull on Superman's Cape, you don't spit in the wind and you don't mess around trying to indict the state AG or piss off the governor. Dumb. You may may not have his politics but he can surely help you if you show a little respect.
Governor I think you have shown good restraint dealing with New Orleans. It can get better. Keep demanding fiscal responsibility and sticking to real public service deliverables. No sanctuary city BS, no woke crap just pave the streets, enforce the laws, lock up the bad guys and fix the SWB. It's just that simple..

If the contractor would have disinfected the flush water with a little bleach or if the waste water treatment plant had done their job this wouldn't even be news.
There can be deadly bacteria from any wastewater plant and that's why you have mandatory disinfection. This is all something about nothing.
We need data centers. If they are properly engineered and located near a dependable power and water source they are no different than any industrial facility. Deadly bacteria. What a joke.

re: Has anyone here ever cancelled their medical insurance they get from their employer?
Posted by dovehunter on 7/10/26 at 9:20 pm to Tarps99
You are a fool to risk your financial security and not have health insurance. Get an HSA plan with the highest deductible allowed and contribute the max you can every year. Invest the money for long term growth and never use the money until you absolutely have to. The money is triple tax advantaged and if you die it goes into o your estate as an IrA would..
At retirement age you can take the money as an IRA by paying the taxes as ordinary income. If for medical it is tax free. At retirement age you will need the money for medical expenses. Medical insurance is cheap if you have a catastrophic event that cannot be predicted regardless of what you think your current health status might be..
