I see that hand gesture.
This girl likes to party
:dude:
We were at Traction when this occurred.
However, I did not see anything because we were a few fields away.
Saw firefighters and ambulance show up.

Prayers to the kid and family
Glad he is home and in recovery and hope he comes out ok.

This was a 2D tournament
2D rules allow you to have 3 kids that are 14 play in 13U
However, the 14 year olds who register with the 13U team cannot turn 15 before May 1, 2026.

You can also sub in players from other teams that are 13 and 14U, but they must meet 2 certain criteria
1. They cannot turn 15 before May 1, 2026
2. They cannot play down. This is meaning if the 13U team is AA, the 14 year old kids can only play if their original team is a AA team. They cannot play on a 14U AAA or Pro team and play down on a AA team.

I know these rules well because every tournament we are in, we normally find a team trying to cheat these rules in order to win.

Prayers man.
You did good on the obit

Do you have other children?

Yes, I have 1 other, an 8 year old son.
Hard trying to keep his life normal and trying to gauge how he is dealing with it all.

I tell myself every morning on my drive to work, that she is better off where she is. She is in no more pain
She had a rare form of epilepsy, so she suffered from apneic seizures, as well as developmental delays (couldn't walk, talk, or eat)
She was on 8 different seizure meds, as well as a feeding (G) tube, 3 different therapies a day, etc...
Actually thought about this yesterday.
I lost my 3 year old daughter 2 months ago today
I'm 42.
If I live 30 more years, when I pass and get to see my daughter again, what will she look like? Will she still be 3 or 33?
Will I be 72 or 42 to her?
If she's 33, will I be able to see her somehow at different ages as she aged from 3 to 33?

I just really miss her :wah:

re: Go to cereal

There are not many, if any, "bad" cereals.
I used to tell my roommate when we were at LSU, "Doesn't matter what cereal you buy, I'll eat it"

But I never thought of mixing 2 or more cereals together.

Mind Blown!!

Top Go-Tos:(though I haven't eaten cereal in years)
1. Cinnamon Toast Crunch
2. Captn Crunch - Crunchberries
3. Raisin Nut Bran
4. Fruity Pebbles
5. Fruit Loops

***Back in the late 80s, early 90s, there was a Smores cereal that was amazing. I remember it came in a red and brown box. Was like Golden Grahams with small marshmallows. One side of the graham was chocolate and the other plain***

The hardest part of being a parent

Posted by LSUweights on 2/3/26 at 8:46 am
A couple of years ago I started a thread about my newborn daughter.
She was diagnosed with a super rare form of epilepsy at birth.

Old Thread

I reached out on here for prayers and support. Mostly just to like and follow her page so we could spread awareness and maybe one day find a cure.

Yesterday morning, my baby girl, at 3 years old, went to be with the Lord

As a parent, I've never felt so crushed and helpless.
Three years is not enough time
I still need her here.
I don't know what to do
Trying to be the tough dad for my wife and 8 year old son

Thank you for liking, sharing, and following her story
Thank you for the prayers
Rooting for CJ Daniels.
Great kid.
His sister has Epilepsy and so does my daughter.
We got to meet him and his mom last year when he was with LSU.
Big advocate for epilepsy kids.
Sad he left LSU but want him to win

Still watch it every Thanksgiving

Remember years back there was a TV show about 2 detectives.
It didn't last long
But the 2 detectives were Ed O'Neill and the guy who played the kid in Dutch

re: YouTubeTV far superior

I paused YTTV and went with Fubo.
I typically share YTTV with my brother and he pays for the extra add on to do that $10 a month
While Fubo doesn't offer the share, It was the best option
Hulu offers the share, but you have to get the Premium plan and then add on the unlimited screen, while Fubo has 10 screen 2 device shares
No issue this week, so far, with buffering....using Roku

I see a lot of recommendations for Elite
I have never tried them but it could be worth a shot.

My son plays basketball with iDevelop off of Antioch and Tiger Bend.
Real good coach.

Hope it works out

What sport?
I'm assuming you are talking about leagues instead of travel?

I am so glad to be done with Traction for both baseball and flag football.
Fields are in good condition but they really suck at making schedules
I've never bought pizza for my operators.
I always ask them what they want.
I usually buy them a meal and a prize.
Here's what I've bought them in the last few years that they said they wanted:
- Tony's Seafood XL box and a custom company hat and shirt
- Grilled hot dogs and burgers on site and a custom company backpack
- Tony's Seafood XL box and a custom company fleece

I've also given away big screen TV, tool sets, custom knives, coolers, etc.. for safety
Was told by a parent yesterday that this particular lady received a 2 day without pay suspension
Parent was not happy

Saw on a FB page Rants and Raves of Ascension Parish, people are posting about the teachers and what school they are at.
Also seen 2 generic emails from AP school board members that they are taking the matter seriously and are investigating

Can confirm from a few parents that this post was reported to the school board

Never was a CB fan, but my son is
We were at Tanger on Saturday and he wanted to go there for lunch.
I told him no, that in fact, we won't ever be going there again.
He's 7, so when he asked why, I said it was because they failed health inspection/rats and roaches
He said ok dad, let's go somewhere else

My boy
Went through it last year with my rescue mutt
Vet put us on Purina with Salmon
It worked for about a year but now it's back
Going through it right now

Going to try this Apoquel and see

Thanks
