Wind and swollen rivers create issues. In March I like to fish bays near mouths of bayous where there is a ledge. You want the wind to push salt water in for a few days, have high water and then fish a light wind day with falling water.

Definitely go Slidell. You will still be on the struggle bus but the water temps are rising. If you’re going with kids I’d fish the mouth of Bayou Liberty, tressels, Hospital wall, and sawmill pass. Drop shot with live shrimp.

There are a lot of unpleasant coincidental incidences in grocery stores. Women ages 40-80 are completely without any spatial aptitude. Real estate has taken an unbelievable jump over the last 5-10 years. Lots near city limits are around 200k mark. So a complete build you’re looking at 700k base. It’s unrealistic and unsustainable.

Easy answer for me is playing a tv show or movie I’ve watched 1000 times. The trick is to play it on your phone and rest it in your night stand. Put on subtitles as well. You won’t make it past 5 minutes.
If you can’t fall asleep on your side this suggestion might not be for you....

Let’s play a game. On one hand let’s pretend everything that happened offensively (recruiting, player development, scheme, play calling, etc) the last two years was a result of Denbrock. On the other hand let’s pretend everything that happened offensively (same as above) this year was 50% Denbrock.
